I was in recovery for two weeks, and in that entire time I learned about the presence of the Cybertronians and that what happened to me was in no way a one-time event. Now that I'm out of the Medbay, I'm set to learn their language and help them track the one who destroyed my life. "Luna Del Rio, please report to the conference area." I paused. The sounds of the laughter of the other officers, the smell of fresh and warm pizza still brand new in the air. Damn it..... I sighed, walking to the conference room. I was greeted to a cold, grey room, government and Autobot officials all waiting for me. Everything was quiet, no smiles at all. I took a seat, waiting for them to begin. "Hello, Luna. Welcome to Project Horus. We started this project to help the Autobots win the war between them and their enemies." He took a deep breath before continuing. "Luna, you've survived an attack. You were set to be a member of the MCPD. We know about the training you went through, and we know how much you want to avenge the fallen." I nodded, still not saying anything. "We could use skills like yours. You won't be a high ranking agent right away, but you can still climb the ladder." I thought for a second. ".....And if I refuse?" One of the Autobots spoke up this time. "You were the one being suspected of the slaughter. Chances are, you'll get the death penalty and never get the answers you need." I closed my eyes, bowing my head and thinking. I don't really have a choice.... How many others were murdered by the Decepticon I met that night? "Okay. Just tell me what I have to do." The agent who spoke first grinned. "You've made the right choice. Don't worry, you'll still get training to actually stand a chance of survival. Decepticons don't leave a target alive twice." We both stood, and I shook his hand firmly. "You'll be partnered with one of the Autobots, and will be meeting her shortly. She's just on patrol right now. And don't worry, you'll be hard-pressed to find an Autobot that's malicious in nature." ....Doubt it..... "Alright, fine." I agreed, though the thought of being stabbed and framed for another mass murder stayed in the back of my mind. The agent signaled to me to follow him, leading me to what was essentially a huge garage and hangar. I could see all sorts of Autobots just sitting around, talking in both English and their own dialect. They were just acting like everything was entirely casual..... Maybe threat of slaughter IS their casual..... "Alright, your partner will be here shortly." He said, opening one of the garage doors. Within a matter of five or so minutes a heavily armored blue Toyota Tacoma came rushing into the garage. For a split second I expected someone to step out of the truck, until the vehicle began to shift and raise up from the ground. Within moments another Cybertronian stood in front of me, and immediately I understood why a garage/hangar hybrid was needed. Why didn't those agents tell me they could transform?? "Starfall, this is your new partner." Starfall knelt down and looked at me. "You're the officer, right? The one suspected of a mass murder?" I nodded. "Just don't get under my pede and you should be fine." She shrugged, getting up to walk away. "Hold on a second. Starfall. You need to help train her." The agent spat out her name with some distaste, clearly having this Autobot on his nerves constantly. She turned around to face us, a smirk on her face. "Oh, really Simmons? Did Prime order it or you?" Simmons bristled, beginning to sputter out something under his breath. "Obviously, I did! You still need to respect authority, you're worse than a teenager!" She only laughed in response. Simmons then turned to me, anger evident in his eyes. "I swear if you try to be as big of a headache as her...." Before I could respond, I heard an alarm go off. Starfall came back over, kneeling in front of me. "You want some training, fine by me. Come on. We're seeing some actual action." She transformed again, and I turned to nod at Simmons. As I climbed into the passenger's side seat, I saw various others transforming and soldiers getting into gear. "What exactly should I prepare for?" I asked her, making sure I still had my magnum. "Sweetspark, we're at war. War is never pretty, is it? So, here's a tip. Whatever you see, push it down. I'm not going to protect you, if you're here then you can obviously protect yourself. Again, push. It. Down. The only reason mental health issues exist is because your kind convinces itself it's weak." What the HELL is wrong with this one!? I could hear her laughing again. "And there you things go with being offended!" She started driving, not exactly behind or in front of the others. "People get offended because you're an asshole!" I shout, getting even more pissed. "How am I supposed to know what an insult like that is? I hear you things using that one all the time but it just doesn't make any sense to me. What the frag are you talking about?" I laugh a bit. "You're really going to pull that card? If you've been around my kind for so long you should already know-" Before I could finish an enormous explosion rang out, part of one of the vans the soldiers used comes flying down the freeway. Time stood still as the charred remains of a vehicle crashed not far in front of us. "Alright Officer, you know what to do, you've seen action vids!" Does she mean movies?! I hesitated before rolling down the window, leaning out with my magnum ready. "The hell am I supposed to be aiming at?!" "You'll know it when you see it!" It wasn't very long before a mechanical scream echoed through the air, another van getting destroyed and thrown aside as what looked like a mechanical ape came out into view, beating its chest wildly and screaming once again. "WHAT THE HELL!" I screamed in surprise. Is my gun even going to harm this thing!?
