It was 2:59 P.M.

And Maeve was standing outside the Hufflepuff common room, waiting for Pansy to show up as she counted the seconds down on her watch.

At exactly 3:00 P.M. a black haired girl popped through the kitchen entrance. "Hey, Prissy." she grinned.

"Hi." Maeve waved awkwardly. "Come here."

"Oh, are you going to tell me the password to the Hufflepuff House?" she shuffled her eyebrows playfully and Maeve rolled her eyes.

"No. Because there's no password." the brunette grabbed her hand and led her to a seemingly ordinary barrel. "Watch carefully."

And with that, Maeve tapped her wand on the top of it in a distinct pattern. Slowly, the crate slid aside and a stairway leading downstairs appeared.

"Woah. So that's how you enter the Hufflepuff Common Room? I actually, never would have guessed." Pansy chuckled, taking her hand and waking down the stairway.

Pansy was in awe as the Common Room opened up.

It was ironic, seeing that such a light and cheery room was present in a dark and dingy place like the Dungeons. It was so vastly in contrast with the Slytherin Common Room that Pansy could barely wrap her head around the fact that both the houses existed on the same floor.

"These look so comfy." Pansy sighed, sinking down into a plush chrome yellow armchair. "This is so much better than the rough leather sofas in Slytherin." she leaned her head back before her head shot back up.

"Wait. Where is everybody?" she asked, wide-eyed.

"Well, most of the Hufflepuff's are at Corner's Party. Some of them are outside, enjoying a nice stroll in the grounds and the rest... they're probably sleeping in since it's the weekend."

Pansy's face scrunched up in confusion. "Till 4 P.M.?"

"We like to sleep,  okay?" Maeve mumbled embarrassedly. "Did you break things off with him yet? Draco?" she asked curiously.

"Not yet..." Pansy trailed off, walking towards the brunette before placing her hands on Maeve's hips. "But soon. I'm working on it. And then, you'll have me all to yourself." Pansy whispered, trailing soft kisses down Maeve's neck as the Hufflepuff shuddered.

"Come on, I'll show you my dorm." Maeve whispered, grabbing her hand.

They walked up the stairs to the girls' dorms, and Pansy gasped as she opened the door. "This is so cute, May!" she laughed, wait let me guess which bed is yours." the Slytherin said excitedly, looking around. "It's this one, isn't it?" she pointed to the third one and Maeve sighed.

"That was easy. You just saw my photos next to it."

"Well, I never said it was going to be hard." Pansy teased, plopping down by her bed before inspecting one of the photos by Maeve's Nightstand. "Was that your mum? She's pretty. Seems mother-like."

Maeve plopped down next to her. "No. That's Julia, my godmother. This," Maeve opened a drawer and pulled a photo out of it, "Is my mom. Raine Kingston."

Pansy smiled, looking down at the photo. "I wish I had a mother like that."

Maeve smiled sadly, kissing her cheek. She couldn't imagine having Death Eaters as parents. Did Pansy even know her parents were in New York during the summer? "Hey, I just had an idea."
