9.3 Daniel & Nell

You're finally feeling like yourself again after having a few off days, you weren't sure what you caught, but something like a stomach bug had you down in bed for the first days of the week in the USA. Daniel didn't want to leave your side, but you managed to get him out the door everyday so far. It's Thursday late-afternoon now, and you finally felt better after the first part of the day, which meant getting out of bed, showering, and making your way to the paddock. You smile at Daniel when he walks up to you, wearing a black shirt with a pair of light washed jeans. "How do you get prettier with the minute?" he asks, wrapping his arms around you before kissing you softly. "Let's get going sweetheart, don't want to be late" pressing another kiss on your lips before intertwining your fingers and walking towards the restaurant. The owners were, as Daniel said, incredibly nice and the food was really good. You chatted about the race and the past week in Australia that flew by. "I'm excited to celebrate Chrissy there with our families" Daniel says excitedly, rubbing your knuckles while leaning towards you. "Also, I'm very excited to get you out of that dress when we get back" he winks at you when you shake your head with a giggle.

You're walking with your hands intertwined and swaying back and forth towards the hotel after paying for dinner. "You know babe" you hum, looking at Daniel in the soft glow of the sunset, "you make me really happy." You smile at Daniel while you feel a blush spread over your cheeks, you stop walking, kissing him softly while weaving your fingers through his curls. "I love you" you mumble against his lips, before burying your face in his neck while he wraps his strong arms around you. He looks at you with stars in his eyes before pecking your lips, "let's go to our room now, enjoy a nice evening together."

You look up when you hear someone call your name, seeing the reds with your friends waving at you. You drag Daniel over to them, smiling up at him when he wraps his arm around, before looking at your friends. Marie tells you about dinner, and you excitedly tell her about what you and Daniel ate for dinner. You smile at the people in front of you, genuinely happy that you all start to become friends. "Want to go for a drink until we all go back to our rooms?" Marie asks, and you nod at her, looking at Daniel who nods too.

You're trying to find a game to play when Daniel whispers in your ear, "do one that doesn't take too long, I want to have some alone time with you babe." You look at him with a raised brow before winking, focussing on Marie who says something about a team game being fun. You read the instructions, shuffle the cards, and give everyone the amount they need before settling yourself against Daniel's warm body. His hand rest on your waist, rubbing soft circles on the material of your dress. You look at your friends while playing a few rounds. Charles and Sofia are in their own world, she tries to focus on the game but it's not going well, which makes you smile. It's adorable to see. You look to your right where Marie is trying to carry her team while Carlos can't keep his hands or eyes off her. You wink at Marie after Carlos whispers something in her ear, turning towards Daniel.

"Babe, do you think they'd be okay with it if this is the last round? I'm excited to know what your plans for us are" you whisper in his ear. Daniel clears his throat, looking at you with a glint in his eyes before asking everyone if they're okay with this being the last round. You chuckle when Marie looks at you with wide eyes, reassuring her that you didn't hear what Carlos said, but that you just observed both couples while playing the game. You clap your hands excitedly when you and Daniel win, and he smiles at you with a loving gaze before you clean up the game and walk towards the elevator with the 6 of you.

Marie looks at you with wiggling eyebrows when Sofia gets rushed out of the elevator by Charles, and you giggle while pressing yourself against Daniel with a bit more force. "Don't do this in a public space love, I thought we discussed this" you look at Daniel with an innocent face. He shakes his head, turning you around again to press a kiss on your hair. He mumbles, "don't test me now, I have to take care of you because I know you're not feeling 100% even though you act like you do." You hum, squeezing his hand that rests on your stomach. When the elevator reaches your floor you send Marie a wink before waving at Carlos. "See you tomorrow!" before you and Daniel walk towards your hotel room.

"Do you want to take a bath together?" he asks after you fell face down on the matrass. You hum, throwing him a thumbs up while sighing out. You were tired from feeling so sick the last few days, and all you wanted was being in a relax mode. And being pampered by Daniel, which he does without asking. You hear how the bathtub is filling itself while Daniel shuffles around the bathroom, opening bottles and putting down the towels. You feel him kiss your shoulders before he turns you around, smiling at you before kissing you on the lips. You chuckle when he says with a weird accent, "come my pretty girl, let's get you in some hot water." He undresses himself first before taking off your dress and underwear. He sits down in the tub, hissing from the heat before holding his hands out for you to help you in. You lean back against his chest, while he strokes his hands over your skin.

"You're being insane hubby material right now Mr. Ricciardo" you sigh, letting your head fall on his shoulder while he chuckles, kissing you on your cheek, before turning your head so he can kiss you on your lips. "That's good then" he mutters against your lips, looking at you with a loving gaze. His hands travel over your skin, and you moan softly when he massages your breast, pinching your nipples while his other hand travels down to your core. You spread your legs automatically while Daniel nibbles on the tender skin of your neck, his fingers move through your folds before he pushes one in. You hum an "I love you too" back, falling asleep in the warmth of his embrace.
