Question after question passed through Minghao's mind.

Why was he here?

What is this place?

Who are these people?

The villagers watched as the strange man internally panicked with himself. They all glanced at one another as if to say, "Who's gonna help him." Most looked away, avoiding eye contact with their villager leader and others until one of the old men in the crowd pushed his son forward.

The young boy looked back at him, "Hey! I don't want to-"

He received a death glare from their village leader, and immediately began to walk over to the man who sat on the ground..

Cautiously, the boy bent down and reached his arm out. His fingers lightly tapped against the man's shoulder, eyes slightly widening when he realized something.

"WHAT?!" Minghao snapped within seconds of the touch, a panicked stare in his eyes when he and the young boy came face to face.

The villager jumped from the sudden yell, but cleared his throat nonetheless, "A-Are you okay? Foreigner or no?" He did weird signs with his hands incase Minghao couldn't understand the words he was saying, but Minghao did understand and he hated it.

"Who are you?!" Minghao spoke, heart racing with fear and panic as the only emotions he knew. He might look crazy right now but what could he do when he might be back in ancient China.

The young boy looked at him in a confused manner, "I-I am Quán Shùn Róng, a villager here who works in the rice patty's..." he answered immediately, fearing for his life after the huge realization that this could be the important being from a different realm like the stories tell. That or he's just a crazy foreigner.

"Shùn Róng get away from him! What if he's actually some sort of evil spirit or something?!" A man from the small crowd yelled, the people around him now agreeing to his claim. The boy turned to him and shook his head, "What if he's one of the heavenly beings like the stories say? In the books, it says a divine sorcerer will one day awake on the dirt roads of the people, dressed in clothing unfamiliar to others, face unique and beautiful! Which this man is!"

The boy looked over to his father, "Dad don't you agree?"

Minghao just sat there in silence, too much in shock to actually comprehend what was being spoken around him.

His father raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms as he shifted in his stance a little bit, "...Well....considering the situation this man is in, matched with that of the story, I might have to take your word for it." His son cheered and turned back to the shocked being sat on the ground.

"But."

His son groaned, "But?"

Oh god but what? Minghao thought nervously.

"I expected for him to be dressed...a bit more elegantly considering he is from the heaven realms and whatnot." He mentioned still a bit unsure of all this. Minghao blushed immediately after once he had enough sense in him to realize that they were talking about his pj's. His bunny patterned pj's.

Minghao sighed in defeat. Just what did that potion do?

"But what if this is just a dream?" He muttered, still in denial of the whole situation.

Minghao stood up from his spot on the ground and chuckled, the people around him taking some steps backwards in slight fear. It has to be a dream. Now who could possibly travel back in time? That's impractical!

"Someone, please, please slap me-" Before he could even finish his sentence, the young teenage looking boy from earlier did the job for him. His face turned all the way to the right, the stinging sensation lingering even seconds after. So this really wasn't a dream.
