where jeongin struggles to fall asleep

"ugh!"
jeongin grunted loudly. he tried so hard to sleep, but his head wouldn't let him. it's been an hour from the time he's supposed to go to bed. his eyes were tired, he was physically tired, but his thoughts aren't helping.
jeongin came home today tired, from a rough week of school. he needed some time to de-stress himself. so he decided to slip. chan helped him to go to bed today, which helped him feel relaxed to some extent.
but he just couldn't close his eyes.
he whined loudly behind his paci, calling for chan. he hoped that the sound alerted the australian male in some way.
his wishes came true as chan opened the door to see jeongin whining at the sight of chan with his paci in. chan closed the door as jeongin whined louder while making grabby hands.
"hey, hey,hey baby boy. it's alright i'm here why aren't you asleep?" chan said softly as he walked over goes under the blanket with jeongin.
jeongin laid back on the bed and whined when he sees the tired face of his caregiver. he felt so guilty for waking him up. he was in the middle of spitting out his paci before chan stopped him.
"no, no don't spit it out, i know you're getting restless but you can relax sweetheart, it's getting past bedtime." chan said softly, while caressing jeongin's cheek softly.
jeongin whined and fussed as he put his tiny hand on chan's chest, while looking up at the older, still sucking on his paci.
"you want to be close to daddy, angel?" chan said softly. jeongin nodded while whining and tried to cuddle closer to chan. chan smiled and immediately wrapped his arms around jeongin's small frame and caressed jeongin's hair.
"aww shush baby, snuggle close to me, i'm here my little cuddle bug." chan whispered softly.
jeongin layed his head on chan's chest sucking on his paci with his eyes open. he loves to be close to chan. it was so comforting especially on days where he couldn't sleep.
chan stayed there for a few minutes just caressing the younger's hair to calm him down. jeongin started calmly humming at the feeling of chan's hands on his hair.
his eyes started to flutter close but he wasn't satisfied yet. jeongin looked up at chan making the older stop his actions. the little one whined softly while making grabby hands.
chan looked at him confused. he wanted to hold something?
"what is it baby boy? tell daddy pretty."
"noonoo!" jeongin exclaimed softly behind his dummy. chan nodded understandingly and grabbed noonoo, his stuffed wolf plush who fell beside the bed
he gave it to jeongin as jeongin took softly while closing his eyes starting to feel sleepy.
chan hummed a soft tune to try to calm jeongin down, he knew how much jeongin loves to hear his caregivers voice.
he hummed until he saw that jeongin was on the verge of sleeping. he stopped humming the tune but felt jeongin stirring and whining.
chan shushed him softly and caressed his baby's hair again.
"shush, darling i love you so much. i'm right here. daddy is right here beside you. it's way past your bedtime sweetie. i'll be right here when you wake up. snuggle close to me, my good boy." chan whispered softly.
by the time he was done, jeongin was successfully asleep. his paci still stuck to his mouth loosely. chan felt himself getting sleepy too as he closed his eyes. jeongin loved it when it was like this, he loved it when slept with
