Drew wakes up to the sunlight streaming into her room. She looks at the digital clock on her nightstand. It's 10:00 AM. This is the latest that she's ever been allowed to sleep in. At first, Drew thought that yesterday was a dream. But as she looks around her room, it definitely was not a dream. Her door is closed, but Drew knows that it isn't locked. She gets out of her bed and makes it before showering and getting dressed. For an almost seven-year-old, she is very proactive. Drew walks to the elevator, and Friday says, "Good morning, Drew! Where to?" "The main area please," says Drew. "On it!" says Friday. Then the elevator starts going down.
It arrives shortly, and Drew steps out to find everyone sitting at the kitchen table. "Well, look who it is! It's Sleeping Beauty!" says Tony. Everyone laughs, and Drew runs up to Nat and Wanda and hugs them before hugging Bucky. "Looks like someone was tired! It's 10:15 AM!" says Nat. "I guess not sleeping willingly for about 93 days does something to you," says Drew. "I guess so! How was your bed?" asks Wanda. "Like a fluffy marshmallow!" says Drew. "Glad to hear that! Also, what would you like for breakfast?" says Wanda. "Anything works!" says Drew. "Pancakes?" asks Wanda. "Pancakes!" says Drew. Wanda and Nat laugh. Clint gets up and starts making the pancakes. He puts chocolate chips in a few, puts them on a plate for Drew, pours her a glass of orange juice, and grabs the syrup bottle. "Thank you, Clint!" says Drew. "Anytime! Also, you don't have to finish them," says Clint. Drew nods in response.
As she eats, Tony says, "So kid, there are a few other people who live here at the compound which we want you to meet! They are getting back from a mission today, so how about you meet them at dinner?" "Ok!" says Drew. "Tony, does Fury know?" asks Nat. "Yes. He's coming tonight as well," says Tony. "Who's Fury?" asks Drew. "Director Nick Fury is our boss! He'll be at dinner tonight, although he doesn't live here," says Nat. "Cool!" says Drew.
Drew manages to eat half of her pancakes and finish her orange juice. After breakfast, Wanda and Nat decide to take Drew into the city to get something's for her room and some clothes more her style. They get to the garage, and Wanda and Nat have a mini argument over who gets to drive. In the end, Wanda wins, and the girls hop into her car and pull out of the garage. They zip out of the gates and down the street. Drew loves everything about the ride except for the seatbelt. To Drew, it feels like the restraints that Hydra used. The car ride is short, and Wanda parks, and Nat climbs out, then Drew. The three girls hold hands as they shop and get various items and clothes. For tonight, Drew will be wearing a turquoise jumpsuit, and Nat will redo her French braids. The girls leave about two hours later, each carrying two shopping bags. They put the bags in the trunk and drive back to the compound. Wanda is using her powers to carry the bags. They get in the elevator, and Friday says, "Good afternoon Nat, Wanda, and Drew! Where to?" "The girl's floor please!" says Drew. "On it!" says Friday, and the elevator goes up to their floor. Nat and Wanda help Drew put her clothes in her closet, and Drew puts the trinkets and books away on her bookshelf.
Then the girls split up and do their own thing for a little while before Wanda comes back into Drew's room and says, "Time to get ready!" Drew bounces off of her bed, and Wanda leaves the room, closing the door behind her. Drew gets dressed in record time and can hear commotion from outside of her door. "Welcome back!" says Wanda. "How was the mission?" asks Nat. "The mission was kinda fun!" says Carol. "After they were down to their last few people, they surrendered!" says Hope. "We dropped them off at Shield headquarters on the way here," says Maria. "I got to blow up an abandoned warehouse!" says Yelena. "Sounds like fun!" says Nat. "How was your mission? We heard about Drew!" says Pepper excitedly. "The mission went well! The best part was rescuing Drew!" says Wanda. "Speaking of Drew, Wanda is she still in her room?" asks Nat. "Give me one moment!" says Wanda as she turns and walks towards Drew's door. Drew jumps onto their bed and acts casual. Wanda, wearing a red dress, opens the door and says, "I know you were listening!" Drew facepalms herself and says, "I guess I'm losing my touch!" "Maybe! Anyways, I'll get Nat to do your hair!" says Wanda. "Ok!" says Drew. Wanda leaves the room and returns seconds later with Nat, who is wearing a black dress.
