I opened my eyes and saw a bald guy standing in the room. Who would be in the room at this hour?
"Titus this isn't for you to decide. She is my girlfriend and she's pregnant. You will suffer if you try anything."
"Lexa? Who is that?" I groaned and sat up.
"Good morning Clarke. Titus has decided to get himself fired this morning."
"Is that who this guy is?"
"Yes! He barged in and now he won't leave so he's fired! "
"You can't fire me I've been here for three of the past Hedas. I have more experience than anyone else you can find."
"I don't give a fuck Titus! You are the most annoying person in all of trikrew! I know you were working with Aesgeta when Costia was killed!"
"How dare you blame her death on me. She was at the hands of Nia not me."
"Ok if you don't leave me and Clarke in peace I won't think twice about kicking you off this tower!"
"Fine but if you keep this up you'll be seen as weak and then you'll be a target."
He gave me a dirty look and then turned and left the room. I already hated him so I guess Anya was right.
"Lexa are you alright. That seemed a bit much." I asked.
"Ya he's getting on my last nerve though. I've suspected he killed Costia for a while now but I haven't went through with killing him. Costia was my best friend before I was Heda now she's... Dead."
I could tell it was a hard subject for her so I pulled her into a hug. I felt bad since she was crying now. After a second she stopped crying and got up.
"I'll take you to the market for our date. Let's get ready now." Lexa said sounding a bit stoic.
"Are you sure you're ok?" I asked.
"Ya. I just haven't had anyone comfort me in a while. In fact I haven't been asked if I was ok since I was twelve winters. "
"I'm sorry Lex. It's really been five years?! Not even your family? "
"I don't have any family. My mom and dad were killed and my sister ran away and is probly dead for it."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"It's ok I've gotten over it. They died when I became commander. Then I stop showing my pain and hid my emotions."
At this point she was sitting on the edge of the bed. She had tears streaming down her face and I didn't know how to comfort her right now.
I got up and kissed her before putting on my new clothes. She stared at me when I was doing my hair because it looked crazy.
Lexa got off the bed and walked over to me. She took the brush out of my hand and started to brush out some of the knots.
"How do you still not know how to get knots out. You know you'll have to be able to braid your hair for events and stuff." she laughed
"When I was on the ark my mom usual did my hair or I did when I was in containment. Now that I'm down here my hair gets really hard to deal with though."
"Well that means it needs to be put in braids so it can't tangle as much. I do mine all the time. I'll teach you if you want."
"Yes. I'd like that."
She smiled and started to braid my hair. It looked like a big fish braid with multiple little braids connecting.
"Wow! It's amazing." I exclaimed looking at the braid.
"It matches your eyes."
I got up and hugged lexa. She hugged back tightly and smiled.
"Mochof hodness." (thank you love) I said moving from the hug.
She quickly dressed and then walked me down to the dinning room. We ate and then headed out. I could see the market from our room and it looked great.
We walked down a few streets and at one point I stopped. Lexa noticed I stopped walking and turned around.
"I really like this." I said pointing to a necklace I liked.

She came over and saw the necklace on the stand. Smiling she took out some coins and got me the necklace.
"Clarke, take it as a gift. It looks great on you."
I had put on the necklace and immediately loved it.
"Are you sure? I can put it back."
"I'm sure. Take it."
I smiled and started walking again. We walked around the market for hours before my feet became so sore we had to go back to the room.
Lexa poured a bath for me when we got back and the water felt great. I had never bathed in hot water before. It was always the freezing river water that Anya used to wake me.
After my bath I changed and went back to the room. When I opened the door Lexa was in there fighting with Titus again.
"Oh my fucking god Titus. I'm so done with this complaining about my every move shit! " she screamed.
She grabbed his shirt and dragged him over to the balcony. I didn't quit expect what happened next. She kicked him right in the stomach and he stumbled off the balcony.
He screamed and hit the concrete of the road. He was dead that was for sure. I walked over to lexa and saw that he had hurt her.
"Lexa? What happened?" I interrogated
"He came here after you left and lectured me. When I said no he slapped me. I was angry and I feel he deserves it."
"Ok ya. Let's deal with the rest in the morning Lex. You need sleep and so do I."
She nodded her head yes than she walked to the bed. When I got over there she had already passed out. I laughed and pulled the blanket over us.
