Chapter 1 - Orientation<3

There she was. The most mesmorising women you have ever seen. Only a few metres away from you. Completely frozen where you were standing as she glances back at you. A smirk formed across her face as you both exchanged glances at one another for what seemed like forever. You can feel yourself drift away in those eyes. Even though she was metres away from you, you could feel as though she were standing right in front of you. Just the two of you as the rest of the world just seems to vanish. 

Yelena: Hey, u ok?

You snap back to reality, shaking your head trying to remember where you are.

y/n: yeah im fine. Just daydreaming.

A small smile made its way to your face. Yelena knew something was up. Afterall she has been your bestfriend ever since you were little. You guys are like sisters. 

Yelena: Look i know somethings up, are you thinking about her?

The smile that had once dressed your face suddenly became a frown. You can feel your grip tighten around your glass.

y/n: This has nothing to do with her. We don't mention her, remember?

Yelena: Yeah I know and look I know your hurting but remember im here for you. Always have, always will be.

You can feel yourself loosen up. You place your right arm around Yelena's shoulder, pulling her into a tight hug.

y/n: Wow, how corny.

She playfully hits your arm.

y/n: I know your looking out for me but im fine really. Afterall this is our night, we got into the school of our dreams. Nothing should ruin our night. 

Yelena: Hell yeah. We need to celebrate after this. Maybe even meet some new people?

You guys were at an orientation event, after getting an introduction on the school from the Head Master, Tony Stark, all freshemen and teachers were asked to gather around the courtyard to make introduction with one another. Must be their way of making everyone feel welcomed. You didn't mind though, you loved to socialize with people. You take your arm off her and smile at her.

y/n: come on then lets go.

You take a sip of your drink and place it on the table that was near you. You take one quick look around to see if you can find that women who had you in trance earlier but no luck.

Yelena: I saw that.

y/n: Saw what?

You cocked a brow at her in confusion trying to get her attention away from the topic.

Yelena: Dont play dumb, i saw you staring at that girl from before. 

y/n: I don't know what you're talking about.

Yelena playfully hits your arm again. You could tell she was trying to be serious.

y/n: Why do you always hit that exact same spot.

Completely ignoring your question she says,

Yelena: I literally saw you drooling. Then you did your cute little face you make when your nervous.

y/n: What face?

She faces you, only inches away from your face.

Yelena: You know when your nervous your cheeks become red, and the dorkiest smile appears on your face. Oh and how can i forget that when you make this face you begin to scratch the back of your head as if you've forgotten something. Like when you asked out that girl in grade...

y/n: yeah, yeah, yeah i got the point. You can stop now.

You can feel the embarrasement begin to show on your face as she begins to giggle.

Yelena: Look i totally support whatever it was that you were doing back there, but if you want to get a girl you need to have some game.

y/n: What do you mean. I have great game.

Yelena: Yeah totally.

She rolls her eyes at you as she starts giggling again.

You guys spend the rest of the night talking with some people as well as teachers, while you sneakily try to look for that girl from before.
