Chapter One
The night before
It's two AM in the morning, on a school night and Lenox is still up, reading fanfics. She's been reading them for 4 hours now. Trust her, it felt like she's been it for, like, two minutes. Her mom has warned her to go to sleep early but she can't bring herself to sleep, the fanfiction she's reading is too good.
She would roll her eyes when the writer described the main character as a perfect girl; thigh gaps, flat stomach and pretty face. Lenox's face is splattered with acne, there's no gaps between her thighs and fat stomach.
She tried to do 5 sit-ups once but she still got no abs so what's the point?
When the clock strikes two thirty AM, she decided that it was time to sleep. She turns off the light and charge her old Iphone 4 before getting inside the blanket with no idea that her life will literally change when she wakes up tomorrow morning.
Well of course she didn't know anything. She's not a psychic for god's sake. I'm the narrator and I can't believe I'm that stupid. I can't do this. I quit.
