Chapter Six

Standing in front of me is Al, my boyfriend and Beatrice. I mentally rolled my eyes, so much of making me stay away from his man. They both looked really shocked when they got caught and they just kind of freeze while trying to cover their bare upper body with the chairs and table, I knew that Al will cheat on me but I never thought that they would have sex.

"Uhh, Beatrice?" Luke said, breaking the silence.

Al's eyes is focused on me with a sorry look on his eyes.

"L-Luke, I can explain" She stuttered.

"Explain what?" Luke said and it's not the angry 'explain what?' type of shit when you caught your girlfriend cheating on you but it's a really confused 'explain what?'

"This! All of this!"

Luke snicker, "Don't worry I won't tell the principal. So you guys chill out" He said.

"What?" Beatrice said.

"I said I won't tell the principal." Luke answered.

"You're not heartbroken? Or even jealous?" What, is Luke her boyfriend?

"Pfft, why would I be?" He said, before leaning into my ear, "Isn't that your boyfriend?"

I nodded, "Well, used to"

Beatrice looked taken aback by Luke's answer but doesn't say anything.

"I'm sure you," Luke said, pointing at Al, "have some explaining to do with Lenox"

Before he could even open his mouth, I quickly interrupted.

"You're an asshole for cheating and we're done, Al" I said, sounding disappointed. Even though I don't really love him, it kinda hurts when your boyfriend is cheating on you.

"Lenox, I'm sorry" Al said.

"It's fine, I just... I just need some time to be alone." I said, walking out of the classroom.

Lunch is over in three minutes, I have to prepare for the next class real quick. I don't want to be late again.

"Hey, Lenox" Luke called.

"Yeah?" I said, turning around.

"I'm sorry for earlier" He mumbled, taking a step closer to me.

He looked genuinely sorry, it melt my heart. Heck, he always melt my heart. That fuckboy.

"It's fine. I mean, that always happen" I assured him.

His head snapped up, his face is masked with a surprise expression, "What do you mean? He always cheat?"

My eyes widened, he clearly took this wrong, "No! I mean...uh, you won't understand"

"Yes, I would."

I shook my head, "No, you wouldn't" You wouldn't understand if I told you the boyfriend would cheat.

I turn my heel when the bell rings and head to my locker to pick some books I need for my next class.

-

"Hi, love" My mom called as I walk to the living room. She is knitting something that I don't really give a fuck about.

"Yeah, hi" I plopped on one of the couch and grabbed the remote from the coffee table, browsing through the channels.

"Have you done your homework?"

I groaned at the mention of homework."I can do that tomorrow. Or tonight."

The doorbell suddenly rings, making my mom jumped a little while I try to mantain my coolness by acting I was not affected by the sudden ringing sound.

"Go get it," My mom said.

"Kay" I got up from the couch and walk to the door, opening it.

I was met with a bright blue eyes looking back at me as he smiled widely, "Hi"

"Luke. What are you doing here?" I asked, glancing behind me to see my mom is looking at us.

"I figured I'd take you out since you're feeling shitty right now."

"I'm doing fine right now, actually. So you don't really have to" I said, putting up a smile so I won't sound really rude.

I glance back at my mom, "It's a friend" I said to her.

Luke pushed my aside, "And I'm taking your daughter out. May I?"

I gave my mom a stern look, silently telling her not to let me go out.

Even if it's Luke Hemmings that's taking me out, I'm not in the mood to go outside and socialize.

My mom smirked, "Of course you can. But don't be back too late."

"We won't" Luke said, taking my hand and pulling me out of the house.

He closed the door behind him as he smiled at me.

"Where are you taking me, by the way?" I grumbled as I look down at my outfit, at least I look a little presentable.

"Oh, just around the neighborhood."

-

"I heard, a really long time ago that you had a crush on me," Luke said.

By now, we are sitting on the sidewalk while drinking lemonade that Luke brought as we watched the kids who are riding their bicycles.

"Oh." I said. God damn Hemmings, who wouldn't have a crush on you? "I probably don't like you anymore"

"'Probably?'" He quoted me.

"I mean, I don't like you anymore." I said, chuckling.

"Oh"

"Yeah" I said, nodding.

"So, who do you like?"

I think for a moment, trying to remember the cute guys at school but none pop into my mind. Maybe there aren't any cute guys there except for Luke.

"I'm not saying." I said, shaking my head.

"Come on!" He said, dragging the word 'on'

I shook my head, gulping down the last of my lemonade and throwing the plastic cup to the side.

"Please?" He pleaded, pouting his lips.

I glare at him, "Why are you all up in my pussy, boy?"

"Alright, chill. Fuck damn."
