Chapter 4

The practice was taking longer than expected. And Y/N was getting bored. She had played with her blocks, made a story with her teddy, plushie, and Barbie, and also played on her Ipad. Now she was bored. She wanted to play with her papas.

She saw Hoshi, standing at the front, watching the others dance. So, she decided to go to him. She ran up to him and tugged at his sleeve. He looked at her and knelt in front of her.

"Yes, dimples. What is it?" He asked, sweetly.

"Papa Hoshi, I am bored. Can you play with me?" She asked him while fidgeting with her fingers. At this moment all he wanted to do was say yes and play with her but they had a deadline to meet.

"I'm sorry dimples but I can't play with you. None of us can. We need to finish practicing. Can you give us another hour?" He asked, sadly.

"Hour? How much is that?" She asked, genuinely confused. He chuckled before replying.

"On hour is sixty minutes."

"Sixty minutes?! Papa Hoshi, that is too long! What will I do till then?" She asked, exasperated.

"You can do whatever you like dimples." He replied before rushing to Dino and helping him with a step. She sighed as she looked around to find something to do.

Her eyes fell on the door. She looked around but all her papas were busy so she decided to take matters into her own hands. She walked up to the door and left the room.

Once she was out, she felt free. Like she could do anything she liked. So she walked, walked all around the company, looking at anything and everything around her.

Back in the practice room, Minghao realized he hasn't glanced at Y/N for quite long and decided to look but he didn't see her there. He looked around the room but she was nowhere. Just then, his eyes fell on the slightly open door.

"Fuck." He exclaimed, getting glares from all his Hyung. "Glare at me later! Y/N left the room!" He added before running out of room, followed by the others. They rushed to different floors looking for her.

Meanwhile, Y/N was scared out of her skin. She was on the 3rd floor when someone had dragged her into a room and was threatening her ever since.

"Who are you to come and ruin the life of my idols!" He spat, walking closer to her as she backed away. She didn't really understand what he was trying to say but she knew he was a bad man.

Mingyu was the first one to reach the 3rd floor after checking the first floor and leaving Dino to check the second. He checked all rooms except the janitor's closet. He didn't think she'd go there. But just as he was passing that room, he heard muffled crying. He bent closer, placing his ear on the door to hear properly.

"You're just a bitch who has come to ruin their lives." Mingyu heard a man's voice.

"Ajhuassi please leave me." He was shocked and angry to hear his babygirl's cracking voice. It was clear that she was crying. Without wasting a second, he barged into the room, startling both Y/N and the man.

He leaped at the man and threw a punch right at his face. While he was listening outside the door, Seung Cheol, Wonwoo, and Jun had also come to that floor and they had followed him inside. But they were surprised to see him so angry.

Jun and Seung Cheol went to stop Mingyu while Wonwoo went to Y/N and picked her up and she broke down and started crying her heart out while hugging Wonwoo tightly.

"Shh Princess. It's okay. You're safe now." He assured her, rubbing her back. Soon the security was called and they took the man away. By this time, the other members were also there and Minghao was the first one to run to Y/N and literally snatched her from Wonwoo's arms and hugged her as tightly as he could. But Wonwoo understood, Minghao was just worried. He too was crying, worried about her.

"Oh, Precious. Thank god you're okay." He said, kissing the top of her head and rubbing her hair. He stayed like that until both he and Y/N were calm. "Are you okay?" He asked, breaking the hug. She sniffled before nodding slowly.

Luckily, the boys had finished shooting the dance video so they could go home. Jun went back to the room to pack her bag as the others went to the van and waited for him. Minghao kept Y/N on her lap and cradled her slowly and she slowly fell asleep. There was still time for dinner so he let her sleep. 

Once she was asleep, Seung Cheol spoke. 

"We need to be more careful. We need to keep in mind that not all are gonna like the fact that we have a daughter now and for that Y/N might get some hate. We need to accept that and be careful." He said, getting nods from the others. 

"But Hyung, this happened when only a few people knew about this. I can't even imagine what will happen when we tell the CARATs about it. What if something worse happens?" Seungkwan said, concern visible on his face.

"Again, we'll have to be careful." Seung Cheol replied.

"When do you think we can tell everyone about her?" Minghao asked, looking at her. 

"I don't know. Maybe we can just ask her. If she is ready to be introduced to the world. We can tell her the harsh reality and let her choose." Seung Cheol replied, sighing. The others nodded.

When they reached home, Minghao woke her up for dinner and took her to his room, and let her sleep with him.
