"Okay Y/N, we'll be leaving now. Call us if you need anything, okay?" The caretaker of the orphanage said, bending down to her level.
They had just dropped Y/N at the SVT dorm since they had decided to adopt her. They met a few days ago when they volunteered to dance at the orphanage. She was sitting in a corner, minding her own business and playing with her dolls which caught Minghao's attention.
He had played with her for some time, an instant attachment being formed. When they had to leave, Y/N was nearly in tears but Minghao promised to meet her soon. Which he did. After much thought and discussions with the company, SVT had finally agreed to adopt Y/N and 2 days ago, they had a practice session to see if Y/N was comfortable at the dorm with them. The caretakers were surprised to see how well the boys were treating Y/N.
They were so well with her. She was so happy, the caretakers had never seen her this happy. Even at lunch, which they had together, Seokmin and Minghao had taken the responsibility of feeding her and they did while making her laugh from time to time.
Finally today, they were dropping her and her luggage off at the dorm. The boys and Y/N couldn't be happier. They had finished signing the papers and the caretakers were leaving, which was hard for them since they had been with Y/N for the past 5 years.
She was put in the orphanage when she was 1, after her parent died in an accident. She was just a 6-year-old, but she was independent and smart as heck. But she was shy, so when she was laughing and talking to the boys freely, the people in the orphanage were more than surprised.
"Okay! Papa will give you a call if I need anything! Bye!" She replied, waving the two women from the orphanage with one hand while clutching Minghao's shirt with the other, who had her in his arms.
The two women left, with a heavy heart.
Once they were gone, Y/N wriggled out of Minghao's grip and went to grab her bag.
"Papa, where should I keep my bag?" She asked, looking at Minghao with her big doe eyes. He smiled before speaking. But someone spoke before Minghao could.
"In your room!" It was Seungkwan, shouting as usual. Y/N's eyes widened at this.
"I have a room?!" She asked, jumping up and down. The boys laughed, seeing the excited little.
"Of course, you do, baby girl!" Mingyu said, scooping her in his arms. She clapped her hands in excitement as Mingyu took her upstairs and Minghao followed, with her bags. They had prepared everything, her room, toys, clothes, and everything else that was needed.
They were ready to spoil her.

She entered the room after Mingyu put her down and she was awestruck. Her room was between Minghao and Seung Cheol's room. In front of her was Woozi's room and beside him were Dino and Jun's rooms. She immediately ran to the bed and climbed up the stairs.
"Careful, precious!" Minghao said, keeping her bags and her favorite teddy to a side. She kept jumping up there as the two boys worried about her getting injured.
"Kitten, sit down and play, you might fall," Woozi said, entering the room as Mingyu excused himself to go and prepare lunch.
She obeyed Woozi and sat down, playing with the two soft toys in front of her with the two boys staring at her with love.
She continued playing until Mingyu called them downstairs to eat. Minghao went up to the bed and picked her up, taking her to the dining room.
Like before, she was sitting between Minghao and DK. Mingyu set a plate in front of her, placing sticky chicken and rice in it. She didn't pay much attention to eating, she was busy playing with Papa Kwan, who was sitting across her as her Papa Soekmin and Papa fed her.
After lunch, the boys had to get ready for an interview. It was a short but important interview and they planned on taking Y/N with them. Though, they had decided not to introduce her to the world just yet.
Minghao carried her to her room to get her ready. He decided to let her wear a comfortable yet cute dress with a floral design paired with cute white and pink shoes.

He let her brown hair hang down, just brushing it a few times. Once she was ready, he carried her downstairs, where the others were. Once the boys saw Y/N, they cooed at how cute she looked. She giggled, hiding her face in Minghao's shoulder making him laugh.
Minghao handed her to Seung Cheol as he went to get dressed. Seung Cheol took her back to her room to pack a few things to keep her busy while they attend the interview.
"Okay, bub, what do you want to play with when we are busy?" He asked, setting her to her feet. She climbed the stairs of her bed and came down with the teacup set, three teddies, two bunny plushies, and her Ipad. Seung Cheol laughed, seeing her struggling as he went to help her.
"Bub, we can't take so much. Choose 4 things." He instructed, softly. She pouted but chose nonetheless. She decided to take the teacup set, one teddy, one bunny plushie, and her Ipad. "Good girl." He said before placing all of this in a bag along with a few snacks, a juice box, and her roll-up bed.

And he certainly did not forget her favorite teddy.
He carried her and the bag downstairs and joined the others as they sat in the van and left.
