When we got back to the hotel earlier, we barely spoke. We took showers then got in bed. I'm on my laptop watching Netflix and he's watching a random show on the tv.
All of a sudden, Seb's hands are moving up my legs and to my waist. I avert my eyes from my laptop and he's staring at me with soft eyes.
"Yes, Seb?"
"Can we talk baby?"
"Sure." I shut my laptop.
"I'm sorry, love."
"You don't have to be sorry for wanting to do your job," I fold my arms.
"Then talk to me. Stop being cold towards me," he pleads. "You're not even cuddling me," I say nothing. I watch as he leans closer, peppering kisses on my neck. "Do you really want to leave early?"
"Yup and can you back up a bit?" I can't think straight with him all over me.
"Why do you want to leave early? I said I'll spend as much time with you as I can."
"I'd rather not be sitting around waiting for you to come home when I could be in my office working."
"You know you don't need to be in the office to work, baby."
"Well, I want to be there," I shrug my shoulders.
"Okay, can you not make a decision now and we'll see how everything goes. Yeah?"
"Sure, but I don't think my mind will change."
"Elara," he groans. "I'm trying here."
"I know but that doesn't change the fact that I won't be spending much time with you. I don't mind spending time with your family, but I want us time.
I want you to take me to your favorite places, let me taste your favorite meals, and maybe do a few fun activities with you and your family. But, more than likely you won't have the time and we both know that."
"Trust me, baby, I want all of that too."
"Yeah, but unfortunately you have business to do."
