Chuckling at the name [Y/N] had given her she looks at the girl like how a mother would, "There is no need to call me that. My name is Azraelle, goddess of Life, Death, and Rebirth. And as my title has stated, I was the one who bought you here to this world.

"...What?"

"What do you mean you bought me to this world?" you asks.

"Do you remember how you died?" Azraelle asks you.

"Erm...no?" you replied, it was weird in a way. Manhwa protagonist always know how they died after all, whether it is a car crash, a bad stomach or perhaps overworking themself, they knew how they died.

"That's because you technically didn't die." Philotes says walking up to you from behind.

"What? If I didn't 'die' how am I here?" you asks, quoting the die with your fingers.

The two gods were quiet as they look at each other in the eyes, both thinking of whether they should tell you or not.

"We said technically, you didn't die of natural causes but instead we made you die." Philotes answer. Thinking that you at least deserve to know the truth of your death. But the truth of your existence here? That was for another day.

"So...you killed me in my sleep?"

"No, we bought your soul to this world, and a body without a soul is nothing but a mere shell, thus making you dead." Azraelle answers your questions this time. After all life and death was her forte.

"What about my family? Do they know that I'm dead?" you asks, walking a step forward to Azraelle.

Shaking his head Philotes was the one to answer, "No they don't. Your existence in your past life has been erased. Your death was unexplainable, so if you were to be remember it would've cause a ruckus."

"I see...but I'm sure there's a lot of other people that could be bought here instead of me, so why?" you asks, you were sure it was not because you 'weren't like other girls' , that was overrated, it was a normal question to be ask in a situation like this no matter how happy you are right now.

"That we cannot answer, forgive us." Azraelle tells you.

"Even though I'm here, the timeline hasn't really change from the original story, why?" You asks, your mind has always been under the thought that the story will change a lot if a disrupt in the timeline was done.

"That's because you haven't really done anything that will change the timeline, other than the fact you are the heir instead of Aristia." Philotes tells you. He knew of your troubles you had often tell him when he was still in the disguise of a dog. Embarrassing I know, but in a world where you need to talk about things like this? A dog is the best option.

"Do not worry about Aristia not being the heir, the timeline will proceed as it is. You don't need to worry about your decision, everything will be fine." Azraelle comforts you, putting her hand on your shoulder.

"You told me...you will tell me everything when the time comes, when will the time come?" You asks remembering your first meeting in the temple.

"Impatient? Well it's not now that's for sure. Perhaps in a few years?" The god tease.

"A few years? That's kinda long..." You mumble.

"Well if you want answers you have to wait, sweetheart." Philotes tells you.
