third point of view.

"Jack Hernandez has been found dead."

"jack... in terms of nerdy jack?" aaliyah whispers to malia, her eyes now widened as she fiddles with her hands, awaiting a response.

malia doesn't say anything, her face is straight as she looks forward to the principal.
marissa sits there calmly, her face unreadable.

"are you guys even listening to me?!" aaliyah whisper shouts, her tapping now becoming louder and she taps with more force.

"...i can't believe it. we was supposed to speak to him today and-" malia mumbles before being cut off.

"this has now been escalated further. this case has became a serial killing and we are now putting everyone in lockdown." the principal announces, unlike the assembly yesterday the room is silent.

no one dares speak a word.

"if we find out who did this you will pay, this won't be taken lightly. a person in this school, a group of people has killed an innocent person. we will be investigating more thoroughly."

malia closes her eyes and presses her hands together, as if she's reciting a prayer in her head. marissa notices, but doesn't say anything.
she looks forward, awaiting another speech from the principal.
she looks more nervous from then before.

aaliyah bites her bottom lip, she looks around to see if anyone else is nervous.
however, there is no sign.

everyone else looks nonchalant, their faces looking sad as they robotically look at the principal.
she looks down her row and then her eyes eventually lock onto jude.
he looks to his right and they lock eyes.

they stare at each other for a moment, signalling something before looking down at their lap and looking back up to the principal.
