Elijah POV
I was walking into Mystic Grill to meet Damon Salvatore to discuss the doppelganger, Elena Gilbert, and my brother.
I take a seat next to Damon at the bar and order a bourbon.
" Hello Damon." I said.
"What do you want, Elijah?" he said
I sigh as I do what my brother told me to.
"My brother and I have invited you and your brother to our house for dinner to discuss things." I said
Damon orders another glass of bourbon and finishes it.
"We'll be there." he said
I walk out of Mystic Grill and I caught a girl who almost fell, when we touched I felt sparks all through my body.
"Sorry I didn't mean to bump you." she said apologetically.
" It's okay, what is your name?"
"Sorry I'm so rude, my name is Hazel Chase."
"Nice to meet you, Hazel, my name is Elijah."
"Do you happen to know Stefan, Damon, Elena, or Jeremy?"
"Yes I do, why?"
"Excuse me for a minute please."
I walk back into Mystic Grill and sit next to Damon.
"Damon, does Hazel know about the supernatural world?"
"Why do you care?"
"She is my mate."
"What is a mate?"
" I will explain everything tonight at the dinner, now answer my question, does she know about the supernatural world?"
"Yes." he sighs
I walk out of Mystic Grill and towards Hazel.
"Hazel, do you know who I am?"
"You are one of the original vampires." she guesses
"Yes, there is something else you need to know, you are my mate, come with me to my house and I will explain everything later."
"Okay" she says

Hazel POV
We walk to his house and as he opens the door a person who I am assuming is his brother, Klaus, appears in the doorway.
"Niklaus, please." Elijah sighs
"Well, hello to you too brother, and who is this?"
"This is Hazel." he says
"Hello, love."
"Hazel, why don't you go sit on the couch?" Elijah says
"okay."
Klaus POV
"Who is she, brother?" I ask
"Well, she appears to be our family's mate, Niklaus."
