It didn't take him long to come. I never doubted he'll actually not be here but here he is.

His grey Audi stopped in front of my stature standing on the sidewalk. I didn't hesitate to open the door and let myself in, making myself comfortable. He gave me a smile to which I reciprocated. Without questions asked, he drove away.

"Where to?"

"Anywhere's fine," I told him. "Somewhere with drinks but not a bar. I have my location on." I laughed at the last sentence.

"Alright. Is my condo fine?"

"Sure. No problem."

"Where are we going?" I asked, confused.

"I'll just pick up my supposed lunch."

"I...got a little distracted."

I know his mother would scold him for his behavior but me? I just laughed. I won't be able to do that at home because my meals are always prepared. And I always get hungry.

The restaurant that we stopped at was along the way to his condo, just a different route from what we usually take. It was a small cozy place that really attracts customers. I waited in the car that he parked near the front and watched him as I sit on my seat from the window of his car.

I noticed that as soon as he opened the door and went inside, the customers inside looked at him. That's normal but what isn't are the lingering stares especially from the girls.

I know. I get it. He's good-looking even with that messy hair and unkempt sweatshirt and pants. Its like meeting a Korean popstar on his break.

He had a short conversation with the man behind the register before he left with his order on hand.

When we arrived at his condo, I was surprised to see his easel propped up near the window with a canvas on it and his oil paints scattered on a table beside the stool.

"So you were actually doing something." Nilingon ko siya at nagkatinginan kami. "You should've said you were busy."

Umiling siya. "I needed the break." He gave me a reassuring smile.
