So, I like a girl. (Big whoop. You're a heterosexual male. Of course you would) But, this is different. I feel different about her than I ever did before. Before I recieved my letter , I just liked them because they were pretty. Now I like girls because they are pretty, AND because of the personality they have. I believe that if you don't like a girl, (or guy) because of their personality, and only because of their looks, than you are not going to last long. You need to fall in love with them, and not their looks. IF you fall in love with looks, you will be disappointed when they are crying, because you won't care about them enough to be able to comfort them.

Now, I have talked to this certain girl quite a bit. We sit next to each other in potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts. Those are my two favorite classes. For... reasons. Whenever we have free time after classes I try to talk to her, but she has this group of friends. I always feel like I would be embarrassing myself or bothering her if I try to talk to her, so I always wait till she is alone before confronting her.

Written,

Chris Ondrasik

We're in potions right now but she isn't...Oh, here she comes.

"Hey." I say maybe a little too laid back.

"Hey Chris. Hows it going?" She asks.

"Good, studying for the potions test." At least trying. Gosh, thoughts always get in the way."Would you like to study with me? My friends are all going to the library tonight at 12, and I kinda don't want to be with them at that hour considering they aren't the friendliest people when they are tired"

I look over to my friends across the room just thinking"GUYS. DO YOU SEE THIS!"

"Sure," She says with a smile (at least I hope) "Where do you want to meet?"

Trying my best to not jump out of my shoes with joy a try in the most calm voice possible to say,"Do you want to meet in the common room?"

"Yea. What time?"

"2:00" I blurt out.

"Uhm. We have potions then. Did you know that? You are there every day!" She says with a snicker.

"Hu?"

"How are you in Ravenclaw Chris?" Oh my, now she probably thinks I'm an idiot.

"What do you mean..?"

"Did you mean 2:00 AM.Saturday Morning?, No classes then."

"I, uhh, yea yea. We can meet then. Are we gonna study for potions the whole time, or just for a bit, then switch to something else?"Mental face palm.....

"Doesn't matter to me."

"Alright. Bye. See you then." i say with a sigh of releif.

"Bye Chris." She says walking away giggling.

She is in Ravenclaw too. People say she is confident in what she does, and that she stays faithful. Now I really need to get back to studying, because I have barely paid attention in Potions. I have been messing around with her all class which took up all my attention away from the task at hand. She is SO distracting (in a good way.).

Here comes my friend Phineas.

"Hey Phineas. Hows it going?" He always has something good to say.

"Nothing much. Just talked to Ella for a bit. Sucks she is the only one in our group of friends that is in Gryffindor. Besides me of course." He says with a solem look.

"That does kinda suck. I believe you two pretty close, Right?"

"Yeah. Shes awesome." He says with a smile.

"Dude, I know."

"What do you mean?" He asks me questioningly.

"I feel the same way about Bella.
