𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝟬𝟬𝟯: SCANDALFor the next couple of days, Bobby's crush for Cana developed. It was no longer a simple infatuation like he had thought. They went on dates in his living room, where Bobby learned more about it, such as how much sugar it has (22g if anyone was wondering—No wonder it's so sweet), how many calories it has, etc.
(He ignored the serving sizes because he could never have enough orange juice.)
Anyways, Bobby has never felt like this before. He felt so warm and giddy whenever he was with Cana. This was new. None of the girls at school made him feel like this—Cana was truly special. It made him feel happy.
Bobby's eyes flickered open, and he sat upright in his bed before running over to the window. He peeked through the blinds and instantly grinned, seeing the snow outside. Bobby quickly woke up Matthew, and they gazed at the streets.
It was currently December, and everybody's house on his street was decorated for the holidays. Bobby was ready for the holidays; this was his first holiday in New York after moving from California, and he couldn't wait to spend it with Cana—he means, his family.
Cana. Bobby thought about it every second of the day. It lived rent-free in his mind, and he didn't mind it. Cana was what motivated Bobby to do his best every day. He smiled and turned to look at Matthew.
"Matty," Asked Bobby, watching his brother climb back into bed. "I'm going to get ready and eat breakfast, okay?"
"Alright," Nodded Matthew. "Telling mommy that I'm still sleeping."
Bobby nodded and went to brush his teeth before walking downstairs, where mommy and Annabeth were. He frowned, not seeing mommy anywhere, but shrugged it off and opened the fridge. He grabbed the brand new orange juice and poured it into his cup. (Bobby had finished the previous bottle, and mommy bought another for him after some begging.)
Bobby walked into the dining room and sat across from Annabeth. He drank his cup and smiled at the sweetness; Bobby placed it down on the table despite wanting more.
Bobby watched as the orange juice glistened underneath the dining room light, and he wondered if this was love? Because he has never felt such attachment or affection for something. He wanted to ask someone about this feeling, but no one would understand him.
"Bobby!" Exclaimed Helen, walking into the dining room with plates of pancakes. "Are you drinking orange juice again?" Bobby nodded, and Helen said, "That isn't healthy! You already drank an entire orange juice bottle yesterday! You need to stop drinking so much of it constantly!"
While everyone in the house didn't care much about him drinking orange juice every day (what? It was just so delicious), his mommy disapproved of it, saying it was unhealthy and sugary.
"But mommy! Orange juice is so good!" Whined Bobby.
"Yes, it might be good, but it's unhealthy," Said Helen, placing down the plates. She looked at Bobby and said, "You know, if you keep drinking it every single day, I might have to take it away."
Bobby almost gasped at her words because no one could take away his orange juice. His. It was no one's but his. No one would dare to take away his juice from him. After all, how would he live without it? Mommy was just probably messing with him. Probably.
"Alright," Said Bobby nonchalantly.
Bobby looked away, not wanting to see his mommy's expression, and sipped his cup of orange juice. A smile formed on his face—Cana always knew how to cheer him up with its sweetness. He didn't know what he'd do without it.
