"I have a twin brother." "That's what I just said." "Why did you keep this from me?" "Because I'm your mother and I have a right to keep things from you." "You had no right. I had a sibling for 26 years, and why am I now knowing about it? " "Look, I wanted to tell you but, every time I brought up his name, I started to feel guilty. I'm sorry, but I couldn't bring myself to tell you without crying." "Well, I'm not going anywhere, until you tell me why I'm now finding out about this." "Okay."

It all started 35 years ago. When I was in college, my best friend Lisa and I were finishing our schoolwork in our college dorms. (FLASH BACK. JASMINE POINT OF VIEW.)

"PC=PA." I said. "Are you sure?" Lisa said "Of course I'm sure, I mean, I'm the smartest person alive." "You're so sure of yourself." "I know." I met Lisa when I was in high school. She always had my back and I loved her for that. "Hey Jas." "What's up." "So, I was thinking maybe we can go out tonight. I mean when's the last time we went out and had some fun." "Lisa, you know how I am. I don't really like going out on a school night." "Please." "If I say yes, where will we go?" "To a club." "Now Lisa, you know how I feel about clubs." "I know, but it's only one night." "You just want to see Luther." "Maybe, but we still haven't had any fun ever since the last exams. Plus, maybe you will find someone." "You know I don't do dates, not with what happen with Mark." "Not all guys are Abusive like Mark. Please just come." "Fine." "Yes."

So, after Lisa dragged me out of the dorm, we ended up going to a club 30 minutes away. When we went there, Lisa and I only danced for 30 minutes, until she ditched me to go hang out with Luther. I danced so much that I decided to go get something to drink. I got my drink and was heading towards the dance floor, until I bumped into the most gorgeous man, I ever laid eyes on. He had short, spikey black hair, blue eyes, and a dragon tattoo on his left arm.

"I'm so sorry." "Watch where you're going. Unlike you, people actually don't want drinks spilled all over them." The man said. "Right sorry." I said, walking away.

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up with this huge headache. I was just about to go back to bed, but I smelled food. I walked to the kitchen to see Lisa making lunch. "Good evening, sleepy head." "What time is it?" "3:00 pm." "How much did I drink?" "No telling. Hey, I have a date tonight at 6:00, so you will be by yourself until 7. " "Okay." It wasn't long before 6:00 came. Lisa went out on a date, so I stayed home and watched Netflix. Around 6:30, I wanted Starbucks, so I got my money and walked to get some Starbucks. Since we don't have a Starbucks on our campus, I had to walk 5 minutes to get there. Once I got there and ordered my drink, I started to walk back to the campus. "Give me your money." I turned around and saw some guy had a gun pointed at me. I was paralyzed.
