Dusty and Ishani the best yet to come (Humanized)

Kicking for the first time

Ishani is 4 months pregnant and has passed morning sickness, she was hanging with Dottie at her shop while Ishani observed.

"So Dottie have you and Maru thought about having kids as well?" She asked in a happy tone.

Dottie chuckled. "Well to be honest, I really don't want kids because I feel like they would get in the way of my work." Dottie said. Ishani did realize how it would be difficult to take care of kids when working with tools.

"I understand how it would be stressful taking care of kids working as a mechanic." Ishani said, they talked for a little more until Ishani decided to leave, on her way home she felt a little nudge in her stomach she thought it was just her stomach gently rumbling and making her stomach move a little bit so she didn't bother with it.

When she got home Dusty was in a conundrum trying to fill out paperwork making phone calls on and off he just couldn't get a break.

"Babe can we talk about something for a minute?" He sat down on the couch and so did Ishani.
"Babe I really want to stay away from firefighting as much as I can so I can take care of you and the baby."
Ishani didn't realize that Dusty was still racing and firefighting even though he won the WATG she thought that they were both retired from racing, Dusty was still a firefighter. "Well it's your choice what's more important firefighting, racing or me." Ishani explained to him.

Dusty sighed and thought about it. "I will still have to firefight and race but I will always be with you and the baby no matter how far away I am." Dusty said putting his hand on Ishani's small bump. "I know you will babe, you will be right here." She said holding her hand on her heart, "Right here forever."

Dusty hugged her and kissed her belly when he felt a little thump on his lips, he pulled back and smiled. "Is she kicking?" Dusty asked excitedly.

Ishani sat back on the couch and let Dusty feel her belly. "Oh my god she's kicking for the first time!" Dusty exclaimed in happiness. Ishani lifted up her shirt to see her expanded belly and saw a little movements and kicks, she couldn't believe it, they'd made a life, she had never been so proud of herself and Dusty for doing this. Dusty put his hands on her belly again and felt a little nudge.

"Hey baby girl, it's your daddy, me and mommy are so excited to meet you soon." He said as he kissed Ishani's belly then rolled her shirt down. He looked at Ishani who was looking a little pale. "Babe are you okay?" Dusty asked with fear in his voice. "Yea just a little bit weary." She said. Dusty picked her up and carried her to bed and laid her on their bed gently. "If you need anything just text me or holler for me." Ishani nuzzled his face. "This is the reason why I fell in love with you Dusty." Ishani said in awe.
