Dusty and Ishani the best yet to come (Humanized)

Expectations

The next morning Ishani was making breakfast while waiting for Dusty to get up.
While she was cooking she heard a low rumble come from her stomach.

She knew she was hungry but kept cooking.
When breakfast was ready, Ishani went upstairs and quietly went into the master bedroom and gently shook Dusty.

"Dusty breakfast is ready."
Ishani said in a sweet voice.
Dusty got up and went downstairs.
"Good morning babe."
Dusty said groggily.

Ishani kissed his cheek as he sat down at the table while Ishani made her breakfast.
Dusty began to eat the eggs and bacon.
"Ishani did you sleep at all last night?" Dusty asked. "Yeah I slept good, why do you ask?
Ishani questioned.

"Because I heard you groaning last night."
Ishani thought for a minute.
"I was having cramps in my stomach all night so I was moaning and groaning and must've fell asleep." Ishani said tiredly.

Dusty put his right hand on her flat stomach and kissed her cheek.
"You should've said something babe I would've done something for you."
Ishani giggled as he tickled her flat belly.
"Dusty stop it! I'm ticklish!"
Dusty kept tickling her flat baby belly.

Eventually he stopped Ishani's eyes were watery because of laughing so hard.
"No tickling me!" Ishani exclaimed.
Dusty hugged her and obeyed then he spun her around and kissed her on the lips.

"I'm going to go hop in the shower, love you babe."
She kissed his cheek and went upstairs.
Dusty went to take out the trash when he heard a whining noise coming from the recycling can he opened it to find a young puppy cold and dirty.
"Oh you poor thing!" Dusty exclaimed.
"I'll take care of you."
Dusty assured the puppy.

He brought the puppy inside and cleaned it up in the downstairs shower then combed the puppy's fur out making sure the puppy had no fleas and waited for Ishani to come downstairs.
Not long before, ishani came downstairs dressed and wondered what dusty was up to.

"Babe what you doing?" Dusty slowly began to lead her to the puppy. "Babe I've been thinking that our child might want a best friend so while I was taking out the trash I found a this little guy.
He lifted up the puppy and his arms.

Ishani gasped as she saw the puppy.
"Babe she's so cute, let's call her spot." Ishani picked her up and spun her around in happiness.

"Babe I love him thank you so much!" Ishani put spot down and thought about it, "Babe we don't know anything about taking care of a puppy," dusty did not think about that, "Don't worry babe, we'll figure out step by step." A few days later they've been buying supplies for spot, soon after they were trying to train her, ishani knew a few tricks for dogs but not a whole lot, "Okay spot let's see what you can do, sit," Spot did so, "good," after a few hours of training she was getting somewhere with spot, it was evening, dinner time while they were at the table ishani hadn't touched her food and it was bothering dusty, "babe you haven't touched your food is something bothering you?" Ishani looked up at him, "I want to be a great mom what if we fail at this parenting thing?" Dusty could feel her pain and looked into her eyes, "ishani look at me, it's okay to be scared, I'm still scared to be a father as well, but your jumping way to far ahead first you have to carry our baby and it will be a journey for us," ishani smiled and rubbed her flat belly, "Thanks dusty," dusty put his hand on her flat belly, "Don't give mommy a hard time in there, you here me baby?" Dusty and ishani chuckled.
