The surgery was a success, Kyojuro is now out of danger, much to the relief of everyone and especially Maya, who hasn't left the operating room.

Kyojuro is taken to the bedroom.
Upon leaving the room, Shinobu gives the proper instructions for Maya to continue post-surgical care.

Maya, even fragile, wants to take care of everything, she starts to put on all the necessary dressings, in a careful way.

Kyojuro is bandaged across his abdomen.  Now, as per the recommendations, he will take complete rest.

Kyojuro is unconscious, drained and tired after having fought bravely in his mission.

After bandaging him tightly to ensure that their stitches are connected, Maya now proceeds to bathe Kyojuro, without his being able to notice, due to sedation.

Maya has in her hands an absorbent cloth, with a firm texture, like a towel, soaked in herbal extract and healing essential oils.

With great care she passes it all over Kyojuro's body, removing all the impurities resulting from the mission he had on the skin, sweat and dust and blood, she can see that the fight had been difficult.

When wiping the cloth over Kyojuro's body, Maya has mixed emotions.

She admires him as she runs her hands over Kyojuro's strong legs, defined arms.

When she finishes scrubbing his body, she proceeds to wash Kyojuro's hair, which had a hard texture due to dust. 

Maya tilts Kyojuro's head as she rinses her lover's golden strands.  With great care and affection she dries her body, with smooth and calculated movements to avoid any further damage.

She dresses him in clean clothes and taken with the scents due to the essences she used in the fabrics.

Kyojuro sleeps like a baby throughout the entire process.

The essences scattered in the air have a calming effect on Maya, who can now proceed more smoothly.

Kyojuro is bathed and dressed, Maya now starts to make a specific bandage around the eyes.  Kyojuro has had his left eye damaged, Maya wonders if he will be able to see again from this side.

After finishing, she puts the white sheets to cover Kyojuro, she stands beside the bed and with her right hand she runs a hand through Kyojuro's hair, staring at him, stroking him relentlessly.

She hears the knock on the door.
"-Maya, can we come in?"
It's the voice of Arisu, who is with Gyomei and also Aoi, who had arrived before, but who didn't offer to help with Kyojuro's care, as for sure Maya wouldn't accept, as she wanted to take care of Kyojuro alone.

"- Of course, I'm done with the bandages."  Answers Maya.

"- How is he?"  Gyomei asks.

"- He's fine, the blood loss has stopped. He's had some fractures and his left eye is pretty bruised, but now he just needs bed rest."

"- He will soon be recovered."  Answers Gyomei.

While they are still talking, they see Shinobu enter the room supporting Tanjiro, who has also undergone a procedure. 

Tanjiro had his abdomen pierced in the mission, by a person who was being used by an oni.

Arisu and Aoi go to find Shinobu to help settle him on the bed.

  Tanjiro is awake, but a little haggard.
