Y/N's POV:

It's been months since i let Mammon stay at my apartment. Those months were full of bliss. Well, sometimes we would fight. Either way, we would apologize to each other. Sometimes, he would disappear unknowingly. After that, he would come up with excuses such as,

"Don't get the wrong idea! I just went to m-meet up, yeah m-meet up with my cousins!"

It's obvious that he's hiding something but I wouldn't want to stick in, it could be personal.

As more months pass by, my feelings for him start to develop. Here i am, staring at him attractively.

"Yo, Y/n! Helloooo? Are ya there?" He spoke, snapping his fingers.

"Stop daydreaming and help me with the food! I think it's burning- G'AHHH!" He spoke as he turned back and saw the food burning. Rushing towards the pan, i giggled. He was entertaining as ever.

"But i was daydreaming about you." I muttered. He turned back to me,

"Huh? What? Did ya say anything?" I shook my head in disagreement.

"Well, okay then." He said turning his back on me, smirking.

Time Skip ~ ☾

Mammon's POV:

It was now nighttime. I was lying in bed holding my "phone". and lately, Y/n had been acting weird. I was too. I noticed that myself!- See this is why I'm The Great Mammon!

Sighing, i come to a deep thought of Y/n.

"Y/n. She's so pretty and attractive. But how will she react if i knew i was a demon?.." i mutter to myself softly, overthinking.

"What if- what if- If she rejects me!! All my love to her for what!!" I sigh in frustration. Nobody had ever loved me before.

Should i tell her the truth? What if she doesn't accept who i am? What if she wont consider me as her friend anymore? Is it okay to let it slide?..

Overthinking, i start to fall asleep. Not knowing what might happen tomorrow morning.

Time skip ~ ✹

I woke up to the sound of Y/n waking me up. She was still cute as ever.

"Mammon! You idiot, wake up! Today is your job interview!" I pretended to be asleep to see her reaction. Sighing, everything went silent.

"MAAAMOOONN, WAKE UP!!" She screamed at my ear. I jumped in shock.

"G'AAHH!" I screamed, accidentally jumping out of bed.

"Why'd ya gotta scream!" She giggled, i rubbed my eyes. We both laughed at it.

Everything was going smooth. I was going to have my job interview! I'm finally going to get a job!!

It was almost nighttime, we were both laughing down the street talking about our day. Y/n had a great day at school today, she kept bragging about it. I, on the other hand got rejected at my job interview.

"Thank ya for this opportunity! Hopefully i can get this job hehe~ Oooo i wonder what will happen if i get this job! I can finally show Lucifer and Levi- Oops. I mean...haha." The interviewer looked at me in disgust. Eh? What did i do wrong?-

It's unfair! How would they reject me for doing nothing!! Back to reality, Y/n was still lively. Bragging about how she got an A at her test, she couldn't help but smile. I was smiling too.

Meanwhile, I was in a deep thought about Devildom. Lucifer still haven't came back to me.

We were having such a good time. Until...Y/n saw a certain person standing beside another Cherry Blossom Tree. It was him!- Lucifer!! He finally came to see me! But, what happened to Y/n? Why does she look so...shocked?

Lucifer walked towards me.

"Mammo-" he stopped his tracks when he saw Y/n. What's with those two? Did something happen between them? Y/n's face had mixed emotions, anger and pain.

"Long time no see, Y/n L/n."
