Hear my Symphony (Cote Fanfic)

Part 2

*Yawns* I opened my eyes to see the bright sunny morning on my window.
I took a step back and thought about what happened in the last few hours, people forgetting music, the big Solar Flare the caused the phenomenon, and me making noise early was a big no-no since I'm taking a low profile. I was not careful during that time.

I took my morning routine like a normal person would, I would take 2 hours of exercising, it would consist of me of taking a 11km run and 101 sit-ups, pushups and squats and after that is a breakfast meal. Considering that I am no longer in hands of White Room and nobody will keep check on my physical state, making sure to keep my body fit is necessary. I don't wanna end up like some fatass who reads wattpad fanfictions.

After the morning, I got outside to take a breather. The wind blows over my hair as the ship sails back into our school campus.

*11 hours later*

The ship was now docking near at the school's marina. I step down as the boat was opening their doors out for the students to get out of the ship. During that, I still can't get over the stares from almost everyone. As finally awaited by almost everyone from Class A to D, we finally made it through home.

Ike: AHHH FINALLY!!! We came back from after that hellhole.

Yamaguchi: Yea, we gotta celebrate man, we've won that exam against the upper classes.

Sudo: Hey don't forget Horikita made it all happened. We should be thankful for her.

I saw the three idiots chatting with each other after they've left the ship. The other students went on with their business as I did mine. The special exam was over and there was nothing to do. After going into my dorm room and packing out my things, I finally settled on my bed. As I fall onto my cushion, I feel the sense of confinement on my room, like each second passed my room shrinks into a square. The thoughts of that phenomenon hits me like a truck again. As I was thinking too deeply, what do I do now? I don't care about music, but thinking about it takes a toll on my mind, like I don't want to let go about it. While all of that, I got a message from the school, my phone rings loudly as I picked it up. It states-

Good evening all students, As we pass this message across all the students in campus, First, Second and Third Years, are requested to come into the school's arena, as important shall be said to all.

Hmm, a special announcement? I texted Horikita about it and she said she had the same message sent to her. And all the school years too? I worry too much that this is going to be a new test. I went ahead and walked into the arena. I saw a lot of students, including the school's council president and a lot of senpais. I saw the Chairman of the school at the stage as he was about to give the announcement.

Chairman: Ahem, good day everyone and I hope you had a pleasant time today, I especially congrats the First Year since they passed their first special exam.--

A long pause occurred. It was dead silent across the building, no one said a word--

Chairman: Now since all students are present, First years, Second years and Third years, I humbly present the school's first ever.... Talent Show!!!!

....

The school was erupting, ahem I meant Class 1D was erupting. As he waiting for us to finish, I was thinking about what he said. "School's first ever" , the first Talent Show for this school....

Kiyotaka: Horikita..

Horikita: Yes Ayanokouji-kun?

Kiyotaka: What is a Talent Show?

Horikita: Wait what? You don't know what is it??

She looked at my curious face as she realized that I was serious.

Horikita: Pfhm baka, a talent show is a competition where people compete to whoever has the best performance with their talents. But judging by this school's unusual tactics for exams, there must be a twist right?

Indeed, if this were their first Talent Show, then they wouldn't pulling off a twist to it. Again, this isn't a normal school. As the shouting stop, The chairman continued-

Chairman: As this is the first Talent Show, we have set aside rules and new mechanics on the competition. We have prepared  sheets of paper that explains the rules. Please take a look.

The staff brought hundreds of pamphlets for each student. Mine was brought and I looked at the text-

Rules and Mechanics

Each class from all of years shall pick one student from their class to participate in the Talent Show. Each chosen student has atleast 14 days to prepare, two weeks from now at the end of the day, every student shall be asked to come back into the arena to watch and vote on the poll that the school has made. Each vote will be counted and the ranking below will distinguish each rewards that will be received.

1st: 100,000 private points and 50 class points.

2nd: 75,000 private points and 25 class points.

3rd: 50,000 private points and 20 class points

4th-5th: 35,000 private points

6th-10th: 30,000 private points

11-12th: 20,000 private points

Preparation

After selecting the classes participant, their names shall be put into a box that will separate them into groups to help them prepare or atleast help them with their performance. Team Blue (First Year), Team Red (Second Team), Team White (Third Year). In one team shall have 4 members each. To determine where they shall be placed, all participants will be asked to pick something from a box, either they will pick a colored cloth that determines their color group.

Groups

After the participants get into their groups, the four classes of the team/year will place a "bet" on the four participants they get. Each class can get this reward if they place their bet on a participant with a specific rank after the voting is done. The rewards might be-

1st: The class who put the bet will earn 50 class points

2nd: 25 points

3rd: 20 points

4th-12th: Nil

As I stopped reading the rules, I tried to understand as much as possible of what every detail I can. A new test has brought upon us. Not only as we are battling the first years...
