surprise

Chase fumbled the flowers in his hands as he waited for Maddie to open the door to her rented apartment in Serbia. Hands growing sweaty at the thought of surprising his homesick girlfriend who he hasn't seen in multiple months. Maddie had spent most of her days texting Chase because her anxiety has skyrocketed when she had left to go film her movie. She played with the idea of passing up the project but Chase thought it was far too silly to let him stop her from pursuing her career that they both wanted to succeed so badly. The goodbye was the hardest, and didn't necessarily end on a happy note as Maddie was understandably devastated to leave Chase and her home/hometown for the next few months. However, not giving up the idea that the next three months will be some of the coolest in Greece.

He heard the familiar high pitched voice from afar with her manager, seeming as if they are parting ways with what they are saying. As Maddie walked down her hallway alone, eager to end her day and FaceTime Chase from back home. Little did she know, she would see him face to face in the next few moments.

As she turned the lock on her door and in that momenthe toyed with the idea that she maybe wouldn't want to see him, and he grew nervous and second guessed himself, what if this was a bad idea. But before another thought entered his head the door slowly creeped open. He stood with a poster saying "Surprise!! No you're not dreaming :))" because he knew thats the first thing she'd say, and a bouquet of flowers with a card in it.

The door creeped open as soon enough the view of him became a little more visible as she jumped back a little, scared of who had broken into her apartment. Once she had open the door she had found out who was actually there she examined their features as a wave of shock over came over her. He smiled big as she squealed and almost fell over from excitement.

"OH MY GOD CHASE WHAT ARE YO-" She cut herself off by jumping on him which was short lived as she attempted to wrap her legs around him as he quickly placed her presents on the side table as they both fell back onto the couch which was thankfully right behind him. She latched onto his body and was in so much shock that she was still screaming. He laughed and held her so tight he was sure she would have passed out however she didn't mind this time around.

After a few moments of excitement and screaming she picked her head up off his chest and pecked him all over his face in short kisses which make him chuckle, dimples showing which made her even more happy.

"Chase I cannot believe you're here right now! I jus- I can't even- I can" she teared up.

"Mads hi- it's okay I know I am so excited to finally visit you we talk about this so much its finally happened." As he grew a little emotional also. She pulled herself together a bit as they consoled each other for a bit.

Still in shock about 20 minutes later, they ended up moving into her room as it grew later and later. Enjoying each other's presence she picked her head up and whispered, "I'm so in love with you". He opened his eyes and instantly melted in her gaze.

"Miss Madelyn Cline I don't think you know how in love with you I am." Chase responded which didn't fail to made her smile bigger than she ever has.

"I cannot believe yo-you're her-" she stuttered. He put a finger up to her lips to shush her.

He interrupted her with a smirk, "I couldn't last more than a month without you, what made you think I could do three?"

Hai babes. I don't think I would ever see this day but. Here we freaking are. I was thinking how I never post anymore so I decided to make a stupid one shot for funsies so you guys are LUCKYYYYY. HAHAH Jk but like you are :). Yeah this is also so short but i'm not doing anymore than this lmao -Paige
