Third POV
Shit.. that was the only word running through Katsuki's mind as he took in the sight of the building.. it was in ruins.
The walls were filled with cracks and small crater like holes, blood splattered all over the surface and in every corner; the room was pure hell..
There were tables upon tables of needles, drills, scalpels, tubes of all sizes- every type of horror-written tool was presented on the rusty silver tables, even on the dirty concrete counters.
Not to mention the smell; God, it was like a million people had died in there, their bodies rotting, not to mention the smell of something burning.
"Dynamight," a sudden urgent voice got the number one hero's attention and he turned to his left, seeing none other than Aizawa—the notorious underground hero and his old teacher—now standing next to him, "we've got the last of the hostages out, but there's a problem upstairs, they're calling for back up." Katsuki frowned, wondering what could be so serious they needed him for backup.
"Why the fuck can't someone else go help?" Katsuki's tone was filled with annoyance, he was aghast exhausted from the day.
"Everyone else is busy." Aizawa glared as he spoke, "not to mention you're the number one hero and you should be the one people can rely on for backup." Katsuki's eyes narrowed at him and he scoffed,
"Fucking fine. But once I beat that sun of a bitch they need help with I'm leaving, they can bring what's left of the fucker to the police." The tired pro rolled his eyes at the temper of the blonde, still not being able to understand how his student was still this troublesome.
"They're back down the hall, I suggest hurrying up."
"Don't tell me what to fucking do." With that, Katsuki stormed away, off to where he could hear the commotion.
He has already been at the abandoned workhouse for hours, having taken down the whole organization known as Alpha12. There were over ten workers here but their leader, or leaders, were no where in sight; that fact caused the pro hero's blood to boil.
His mission has been going on for a couple years now; they first learned about it when a little girl—Eri—had escaped from the building and told them the name of the organization and attempted to inform them of what the organization did- or tried to do to her were the words she used. She said someone saved her in time and helped her escape, but she never gave a name.
A sudden loud scream pulled Katsuki from his thoughts and he immediately sprinted to where he heard the cry of pain.
"What the fuck happened!?" Katsuki's voice thundered and was filled with dominance as he slammed through the closed steel door, being met with a sight that nearly knocked him over.
A man was thrown against the wall right next to him, his arms breaking on impact to the point the bone split through the skin. Blood splattered on Katsuki's face and he internally grimaced.
They weren't kidding...
He was able to force his attention away from the group of people who went to help the screaming man, instead his eyes instantly glued to the attacker and the pros around them.
There were four of his supposed teammates screaming orders at each other, trying to find the right way to execute their plan, whatever it was. But Katsuki's eyes wouldn't leave the accused attacker.. they had blood covering almost every inch of their skin, they were covered in gashes and bruises, scars were littered all over them..
The pro's sight moved up, his eyes widening when two horns came into view through messy, unruly green hair that covered the eyes of the perpetrator.
What the fuck..?
In the time he examined the person another pro was knocked off of their feet by a strong hit from a- WING?!
Katsuki had to do a double take, making sure his eyes didn't fool him, but when he looked he saw large, fierce black wings opened wide behind the back of the person.
"What the fuck do we do?!"
"I don't know! We can't get near it!"
Katsuki shook the shock away, hearing the voices of the remaining pros made him get back to his main focus—he has to concentrate.
Taking a deep breath he began to form a plan in his mind; he wasn't able to get close from what he could tell, there doesn't seem to be a quirk he needs to worry about.. Katsuki let himself look the person over once more, but that's when he noticed the chains that were locked around the attackers wrists and arms.
Why the fuck would they chain up one of their helpers..? Seems rather counterintuitive..
Now the blonde was confused, he examined the chains; they were rusty, thick, titanium chains. Instantly Katsuki came to the conclusion that they did not want this person to escape.
The chains connected to the concrete ground, being held down by a hard silver plate that was chipped and scratched all over—looks like he's been trying to escape though..
Katsuki chewed on his cheek, he needed to help but his explosions would harm the other pros.
"Get the fuck out of my way!!" He quickly shouted to them, but that got not only the attention of the other heroes, but also the eyes of the attacker to shoot at him; when their eyes met he was taken back, he saw pure fear..
This person was shaking, their eyes were wide and wild, their hands were shaking in the chains.. they weren't just scared of him, they were scared of everyone. It was almost like they were having a panic..attack..
Katsuki's eyes widened, "shit."
"You dumb fucks! That's not an enemy!" The confused eyes of the other pros stared at him.
"What are you talking about?! Look at it!"
"I am you fucker!" Katsuki glanced back at the person; he didn't know what to do. He couldn't hurt them, they were a prisoner, not a villain, a threat though..
But that's when something caught his eye, it was silver and it hung from the prisoner's neck.. it was the only thing clean in the entire building.
That silver wasn't just random, however. That silver was a necklace and that necklace wasn't just familiar, it was specially made.. for someone long gone..
"Hey you fucker!" Katsuki's eyes burned into the eyes of the prisoner, "where the fuck did you get that?!" He didn't care if this person was in a panic attack right now, that wasn't theirs..!
But that's when something clicked..
Green hair. Green eyes. The necklace..
It can't be..
"Deku..?"
