Third POV

The hospital room lit up with the bright sunlight that seeped through the white-blinds; the gentle sun rays shined on the person occupying the bed, it lit up their dark freckles and their pale, pink lips.

It didn't take long before the sudden light disturbed the person's slumber and soon they woke up with a jolt.

Izuku shot up from the hospital bed, the light blue sheets falling off of him as he tried to control his erratic breathing.

"Oh my! Are you alright, dear!?" It took Izuku a moment to register the frantic voice he just heard and realize there was someone else with him. Quickly controlling himself, he backed up on the bed, his back hitting the wall that stood stiff behind him.

He eyed the person skeptically, watching her concerned expression morph into a smile. "It's alright now, dear. I won't hurt you." The woman could tell she was already too close so she thoughtfully took a few steps back and pulled up a chair.

Izuku noticed how she didn't seem to confront him and relaxed just the slightest bit. He kept his eyes glued to her, however, making sure he watched her every move.

His brain was foggy and he was trying to recall what happened. He began getting some sort of image when he suddenly heard the woman clear her throat.

Izuku payed attention to her voice again, seeing she had made herself comfortable and smiled at him with curiosity. "I'm terribly sorry to disturb you.. My name is Dr. Janie, I've been taking care of you." Izuku perked up when he heard that. What did she mean by taking care of me?

He wanted to ask so many things, a million questions were running through his mind: what was he doing here? Who brought him here? How long has he been out??

"You've been asleep for almost a week now. It seems your body needed quite the rest." Izuku stared at her bewildered, wondering if he had spoken his questions out loud. "You woke much more calm this time, do you want to explain why you woke with such a start last time??"

Last time? Now Izuku was completely lost. "Did you think you were in danger?" Probably. "Were you afraid of Izzy harming you?" Who's.. Oh. Yes.

Izuku could faintly remember a girl, she had almost been in the same spot as the woman who now sat infront of him. He wanted to recall more, but in order to do so he would have to ask and Izuku hesitated to respond. He didn't know this woman, only her name. This could be a trick..

After a few moments Janie sighed, realizing she wasn't going to get a response from him anytime soon. She quickly wrote a few things down on her clipboard, notes she could revise later.

"Well Midoriya," Izuku nearly choked. How did she know his name?! "you're not much of a talker, are you?"

"H-how do you..know my name?" Izuku couldn't help it. Janie seemed very happy hearing his voice and he regretted speaking up. "You're friend informed me and we have medical records."

Medical records? Oh.. It was just then when it clicked in Izuku's mind, he was in a hospital. All of the events that have previously occurred ran through his head, he remembered everything and he would be lying if he said it made him feel better.

These people hurt him. More than once.

"Midoriya?" Izuku didn't even realize he had looked away from Janie and he quickly set his eyes on her once again. He silently cursed himself for losing focus, he needed to watch her. "We've been able to monitor you this past week and feel safe letting you leave, if you're alright with that?" Izuku froze.

Leave?

He could leave?

Izuku didn't know what to say. If this was a test it was cruel. Messing around with the thought of his freedom was dangerous.

He couldn't really be free?

"We have someone who has volunteered to take care of you until you're able to take care of yourself. And before you ask, if you even would, we aren't allowed to let you leave on your own. We need to know you will be safe and taken care of."

Instantly Izuku's heart stopped. He knew he wouldn't be free. Not only would he be sent to someone else, this someone else was a stranger. Izuku didn't know who they could be, who they were, what they could or would do..

"This person has been enrolled in an organization our Hospital created. We promise you that you'll be in good hands.." Janie bit her lip, she hoped he would at least, she didn't know how the blonde hero would do. "We've had multiple background checks and they have sufficient funds.." she tried to think of what else could put his nerves to ease. "They also-"

"Where the hell is he!?!" Janie didn't get to finish her sentence as the sudden yell cut her off. She saw Izuku flinch hard and his wings widen the best they could behind him. Speak of the Devil..

Izuku heard Janie sigh and he couldn't help but feel his hands shake, this person was looking for him, he knew it. And they did not sound happy.

He couldn't focus his mind on what Janie was trying to tell him, his panic beginning to really set in.

What if it's him?

All Izuku could listen to was the pounding of his heart and the thundering footsteps of whoever was out there.

He could hear the people trying to stop the aggressor, but to no avail.

Just now realizing how close they were, Izuku noticed how trapped he was. There were wires and tubes connected to him and he found himself quickly ripping what he could off of him.

After ripping out the IV, experiencing dejavu, Izuku came back to reality and remembered there was another person in danger.

His eyes shot to the doctor who watched him in horror and quickly reached out to pull her behind him. He held onto her wrist until she rested against the wall next to the bed and Izuku covered her with one of his wings.

He didn't know her well, but he knew she had helped him. He could tell she was kind and he wouldn't let whoever this person was harm her.

"Midoriya-" her words were cut short when the door was suddenly slammed opened, making both of them jump in surprise. Izuku less than Janie, he just froze, too scared to see if it was the man who had started everything..

Taking a deep breath Izuku knew he had to face the person. Three... Two... One... Forcing his eyes open Izuku stared.

It wasn't him..

Izuku took in the sight of the blonde male who stood in the place he thought someone else would be standing in.

The blonde wore a black suit, orange trims and green gauntlets on his wrists. Izuku couldn't tell who they were by their outfit, having never seen it before, but the second his eyes trailed up and met the rare sight of deep red eyes he knew who it was.

He was relieved and scared at the same time..

Bakugou.

"Hey.. Deku.." Why is his voice so soft?
