Emma's POV

When I got back to the apartment, it was 1:35. So I had a bit of time to get ready for this meeting. I quickly ran to the shower and jumped in. The meeting didn't start till 2:30, but that means I have to leave by at least 2 to get there on time. Once I finished my shower, I hopped out with a towel and went to my closet. I picked out a black pencil skirt and a cute pink blouse. When I added my prescription glasses, I turned out looking much more professional than I had imagined I would.

I checked the time. 1:50. Shoot. I guess no make up today, I think having my hair dried is more important. So I pulled out the blow dryer and blew the hot air through my hair. It quickly dried and returned to being naturally straight.

I then began to walk out the door with my purse and watch that I strung to my wrist. I got in the car and began the journey to the place I work.

I arrived there with 8 minutes to spare and walked in the room where the meeting was to be held. Only 3 people could be found there at the moment, so I didn't feel too panicked. I knew I wasn't late. I took a seat and waited as the other chairs quickly filled.

At 2:30 on the dot, our manager began the meeting. Long story short, our buisness was coming to a slow down in fashion design. They needed something to pick the buisness back up fast and place it back on track. So now, on top of our regular work, we have all been assigned this "mission" to create some original one of a kind garment to put out there to the world. If anyone makes something to Danielle's (our manager) liking, then there is a possibility it will be used to bring this company towards the spotlight. Then we basically went over any questions from which I found out the following: All garments must be in by Friday next week, and they can be for girls or boys, and for teenagers since they are the ones to want to jump on the bandwagon. Pretty much, if the article of clothing is a hit, then it will sell like crazy in this age group.

Shortly after, the meeting was over. I have to admit, this did overwhelm me a little bit, but I told myself I could do it. And just incase you still might be wondering how I got this job for just coming out of high school with a previous job at burger king, this company has not been doing too great for the past few years. They have been in debt for a while and not selling as much as they have planned lately. So by now, they are kind of desperate, but still trying to spend wisely and keep to a budget.

I went back to my office room and finished up my work for the day. What I liked about this job was that I wasn't always scheduled a certain time, I could come in any time each day as long as I was able to get what I needed done. I made a few calls to clients and then began thinking about what I would make for my garment. I remember Danielle saying that it didn't have to come directly from us; we could have a fantastic idea and get help from another who is great at sewing and putting together clothing. This must be directed towards me who doesn't necessarily work with clothes. I just work in a small office where I make calls, answer calls, and deal with paper work coming from our company. But now, we have hit rock bottom, and we need everyone on team aboared to get us back up.

Soon, I felt like I had done enough thinking for the day and left. It was now 6:15 and there was one last thing I wanted to do before returning home. Buy more clothes. Yes, I do shop a lot. A lot more than I should. However, I need nice clothes for this career and right now, I don't have much. So I went shopping for about another hour and when I finally got home, I was satisfied.

As I entered the home, I smelt delicious spaghetti. I set down my bags at the door and joined Brent in the kitchen.

"It smells lovely!" I said.

"Thanks! I was wondering when you'd be home!" He replied handing me a bowl.

"Well I went in for work today at 2:30 and got out around 6. Then I had to do a little shopping for my job and now here I am!" I explained. "What time were you home?"

"I got back at 3. We were done early today... I was hoping you would be here to keep me company, but I had to invite Cameron instead." He told me.

"Oh... did he leave already?" I asked.

"Yeah, he had to get back home to Melissa." He said.

The rest of our dinner we just talked about how our day went. What we did at work. And what we did in our spare time. So of course he found out about Sarah and I's trip to the water park. Just like I found out about the mess Cameron and Brent made in the living room while making a video. Neither of us were upset to hear the other's story, just a little surprised at our craziness.

Afterwards, we went on a bowling date. Normally I find bowling boring, but it was cosmic bowling where they make everything light up and look cool, so I agreed. And by agreeing, I was also confirming I was ok with losing to Brent, because I suck at bowling.

Sorry if these chapters are kind of short guys. I can't really tell... But I'd rather put something out there than nothing. (:
