ANXIOUSNESS.
The boys were sitting in the waiting room, feet tapping impatiently as their hearts raced. Bang Shi Hyuk arrived not minutes after Iseul was taken inside.
It has already been two hours and the doctor wasn't coming out, ticking the boys' patience as they waited to hear Iseul was just fine and it wasn't anything serious.
Jin stood up as he spotted Mirae and Myung anxiously running down the hallway towards them, both shook to the core and with tear-stricken face.
" Where is she? Is she fine? "
Jin gulped, shaking his head and pulling the woman in a hug as she sobbed, " The doctors are still inside, auntie. "
" What happened? " Myung asked, rubbing Jungkook's back in comfort as he has been crying non-stop, " There wasn't much on the news. "
The CEO sighed, shaking his head as guilt filled his heart, but before he could speak up, the doctor stepped out causing all of them to look at him with hopeful eyes.
The look on his face was enough for Yoongi to know he wasn't hearing anything good out of his mouth. With his breath stuck in his throat, he looked at the door.
" How is she? Is she going to be okay, doctor? "
" She's not in danger. " The doctor informed, looking at the seven anxious boys, the terrified parents and the CEO, " But I'm sorry to inform this. She has a cut running down from her throat to collarbone so her intrinsic muscles in glottis are damaged. "
He looked at them nervously, " I think its better if Iseul-ssi puts a stop on her idol life now. "
" What?! "
A chorus of "what"s rang the empty hallway, making the doctor sigh. " Are you saying noona can't speak anymore? " Jungkook gulped, grabbing pnto Taehyung's arm.
" You need to understand, her vocal chords are severely damaged and even if they heal, she might only be able to talk a little for a while. In this situation, if she sings, she might just loose her voice due to the amount of pressure she'd put on her chords. "
" There must be a way. " Jin whispered, not wanting to imagine how heartbroken Iseul will be to hear such news. He refused to believe it.
" I'm not saying it's not possible, but it'll take a few months for the chords to heal. Even then, she can't talk alot. For the best advice, she shouldn't sing anymore. "
