Bella was a smart child, I wasn't as mature as her when I was five, although I worry for her I knew she could handle herself a little bit better than other kids do. Was it because she has such a wise father?

Now I loom under the shades of the burning camp fire, I was in tears, yearning for my baby.

"Hello, mom." She said awkwardly, holding onto the hoodie of the stranger that stood infront of us. I immediately dash towards her and take her into my arms. "I already lost your dad, please don't disappear on me too..." I sobbed as she began to cry in my arms.

The silence went on for a bit, Wilbur tapped Tommy's shoulder signing him to apologize. Tommy hesitated; He turns his head to Bella and I then stepped forward. "I apologize for asumming things, Dream. I was just very worried for my niece." Tommy sighed, Tubbo smiles at the improvement of his attitude.

Dream hummed, I felt his eyes trail at me, scanning me up and down. "Niece? I assume she's the mother then." He points at me, I stood up carrying Bella and nodded as a response.

He paused, as if he was about to say something. He turned around and left, that was weird. "What a dick." Tommy complained, making Fundy nudge at his side. "Shut up man, we can't afford another war." He chuckled, making Tubbo and Tommy cringe at his way of words.

Wilbur approaches at Bella and I to see that his niece had passed out from crying, he smiled, taking her into his arms instead. "Come, you guys must be tired." He leads us to a small cottage nearby the hotdog van, it must've been built recently since they spoke of war.

He sets Bella down at a comfortable looking bed, she had dried tears on her face, making her look like a fallen angel who cried. "She might have her father's features but we can't deny, Bella has your attitude. From your hums, the way you two can either be so brave and frail at the same time; If somehow, her father does not come back, I hope you stay with us for a little longer."

He paused, sighing and embracing me. "I do not want her to grow up with a broken family, she just doesn't deserve that. Bella is not be my daugher but, she might as well be. Everyone in here adores her." Wilbur pulled away, gazing into my eyes lovingly, he loved me as his sister and the feeling was mutual.

"I'm sure she would love to stay, it's about time we settled down. But, if ever, war comes around again; I will not hesitate to run away with her." I cupped his cheek, Wilbur melted onto my warm hand and held it, keeping it  there for a little longer. "That's what I would want the two of you to do too."
As the chatter and catching-up went on for a while, Wilbur had decided it was time to leave for tonight.

I hummed, it had been an hour since Wilbur left, I could not sleep so I decided to take a walk. I peek over at Bella who was asleep like a sleeping beauty, I gave her a kiss on the forehead and left our humble abode. As I step outside our door, a cold breeze passes by.

I felt watched.

I sigh, closing my eyes. When I open it, I walk over to the tree to the left of our cottage. "Hello, I didn't get your name earlier ago." I greeted him, it was that masked man named 'Dream.'

He turns his head to me and relaxes his shoulders, I could tell he was grinning under his mask by the sound of his voice. "Wow, you really have good senses." He spoke, his voice sounding husky and a little less cold than earlier ago.

"My name is Dream, I snuck in here since I was plenty curious about you. I planned to introduce myself but, it didn't seem like a good idea infront of your brothers." He twirled strands of my hair on his finger, I did not mind, it reminded me of...

"Nice to meet you Dream, my name is [Y/N], I'm sure you already met Bella earlier ago. She's my daughter." I leaned on the tree, the moonlight shone upon us as the wind danced around us. "Yeah, she seemed smart, a great kid with a good mother. She praised you a lot, you know?"

I smiled to myself, closing my eyes and feeling the wind. "I hope one day, she gets to see her father and get the answers she wants from him." I played with my fingers, I stopped biting my nails once Bella was born but, long habits die hard.

"If you're fine with answering this, where is her father?" Dream suddenly tucked loose hair strands behind my ear. I hum, opening my eyes and settling down at his gaze. "I don't know either, he left so suddenly one day. I don't even think he knows he has a daughter." I chuckle sadly, feeling terrible for Bella.

"I'm assuming he has the same features as her, and she got your attitude?" He traced his thumb near the corner of my eye, wiping away traces of built up tears. I nod, looking up at him, it felt wrong to find comfort in a mere stranger.

I felt him looking at me in a comforting manner, something similar to adoration. "I'll try to find him for you and Bella."
