Authors pov:-

3 days later

"Naira what is this going on"Raj who just walked into the Goenka Mansion asked seeing the decorations an all

"Oh hi Raj"naira chirped 

"Hi"he says softly

"What is all this going on"he asked

"Decorations!"she answered

"Ha wo to mujhe bhi dik raha hai...but decorations for what?"he asked

"Engagement"she answered

"Engagement ...oh so kartik sir has confessed his love to naira "raj thought

"Raj..."the turned to see kartik descending the stairs

"Good morning sir"he wished kartik nodded whereas naira rolled her eyes at his behaviour

"Raj will you please contact Mrs D'souza and ask her whether she is free "kartik asked 

"Sure sir"he nodded

"By the way congratulation sir"he said

"Congratulations?......Why"kartik asked

"Your enagement na sir"he said 

"WHAT"Kartik shouted making naira jump at her place

"Oh hello thoda dheere baat karo...yaha kamzor dil wale bhi hai"she said keeping her hand on her heart kartik rolled his eyes at her drama

"It's not mine engagement Raj it's KUHU's"kartik said

"Pata ni aaj sab ko kya hogaya hai...iss nanhi si jaan ke peeche pade hai"she said wiping off her fake tears kartik rolled his eyes and turned towards raj whose face was pale and he was numb.

He looked at naira who winked at  him...sending chills down his spine...He smirked at her 

FLASHBACK 

Kartik's pov:

I a standing outside naira's room thinking whether to ask her for help or not...i m in the biggest dilemma i knocked the door and it got opened widely revealing naira .....who was jumping and dancing  on the bed with her headphones on.

"Naira"i called calmly trying best to not look at her who was doing the wierdest steps ever

"Naira"i raised my voice no answer

"Naira "i called walking towards the bed...

"Naira"i called again she twirled in dane and stop seeing me ..her eyes widen in shock

"Kartik"she removed the headphones her voice was showing she was damn embaressed  ...i bit my inner cheeks tryin my best to surpress myself from  laughing.....

"Ap yaha"she said walking towards me and she tripped and fell on me and i fell on the ground....i groaned when my back hurt the ground.And looked at her who was looking at me ...seems like she is scared but from whom 'from uh 'my subconsious snapped me i asked 'yes...she must be thinking that because of her you got hurt and now she will get scolding from you' i mentally rolled my eyes why everyone things me as a monster 'coz u r one'he snapped i scowled at him ....who slept on the couch folding his arms beneath his head.
