That morning, instead of sleeping in, the girls got up early to help Emma get her audition in.
"I feel connected..." Emma started to sing but got nervous. "Kara I can't do this! What if I don't make it in? What if they don't even listen to it!
"Emma relax, its just a recording! Now take a deep breath and try again! This time feel like your not being recorded, singing just for fun. Okay? Lets try this again!" Kara boosted her sister's confidence and she did much better. Again, Emma sang through the whole song and it sounded great.
Kara and Emma then put the recording on a CD and sent it in along with the song they wrote.
"You're gonna get in! I know it! You have the best musical talent for only being thirteen!" Kara said after mailing the audition in.
"Thanks sis, I appreciate your support! You're the best fiften year old sister I could ever have!" Emma replies hugging her sister. "I really wanna go there! I wouldn't be home schooled anymore and I'd get to see you more often!"
"You're gonna make it! I know you will! C'mon, lets sing a little bit!" And so they did. The two girls sang all evening after supper and had a blast. They were eager to see if Emma got in.
