I was a bit hungry so I decided to go to a diner to eat. I made sure to see if my family wanted something but they didn't oh well, saves me the money.

I finally made it to the diner planning my order as I was walking in.
I made it to the counter and started to order.
I ordered a burger with fries and a chocolate milkshake to go. I was waiting for my food when Hayes walked in. Oh fuck me.
I was tapping my foot very fast still wait for my food then Hayes spotted me. Great just what I needed, Hayes to come over here and start shit.
He smirked then ordered his food as he was waiting he came over to me. I tried looking the other way to avoid him coming over here.
"Long time no see, Y/n." He said. "Its only been two weeks, Hayes" I said scoffing. "Still kinda a long time" "Whatever."
My number was called and I went and grabbed my food. As I walking put Hayes stopped me. "What do you want Hayes?" I asked "Damn why so cold?" He replied. "Oh idk maybe because you tripped me and gave me a bloody nose" I said. "Hey thats your fault you are the one that pushed me." "Mhm sure it was" I said then tried to walk out key word tried. He stopped me again. "Hey, hey, not so fast." He said grabbing my waist. "Let go of me!" I said getting out of his grip and going to a booth. I grabbed a glass of water, poured it on him and ran out. I'm surprised I didn't drop my food or anything.
I was a block away from the diner and I had stopped running. I sat on a nearby bench to make sure my food and milkshake were ok. Everything was fine. I was still shocked and uncomfortable by the Hayes situation.
I then got home and ran upstairs not talking to anyone. I don't know why I should've but I didn't. I didn't have the balls to.
