We grabbed our breakfast and headed to our first block which was Wickedness 101. I walked inside and saw Shere Khan writing on the front board. I walked over and put my stuff next to Gil. "What is that?" He asked, looking at the list. "School supply list for Dizzy, Celia, Sterling, and Skipper." I said, looking at the list as well. "Did you guys get the supply list for 9th grade? Our teacher gave it to us in Coin & Jewel Calculus yesterday for homeroom." Gil asked me. "Nope. We're getting ours today in homeroom." I said, taking a bite of my stale Eggo's waffles dipped in maple syrup. "When will we go shopping?" Gil asked. "Gil, stop asking her so many questions. We'll be going school supply shopping during Barge day or at the store very soon." Uma told him. "How are the kids and teenagers supposed to go to Barge day if we're going to be in school?" I asked. "Every day, we normally go to school at 8 and got home at 3. Every Thursday, we will be going to school at 10 and getting off at 3. This way we can help our families, friends, or even like pirate crews get supplies from the Barge just like everyone else." Uma explained.

"Makes sense. Who has Calculus, Under the Sea Science, and P.E. with me today?" I asked. "We all have P.E., Harry has Under The Sea Science, and we all have Calculus in the same block." Gil said. Harry looked back at me, winked, and looked back at his phone. I blushed, bit my lip, and looked back at the list. "Alright, students. Let's get this class started. Today, we are going to be getting started on some words and definitions." He said, pulling up his notebook on the board with the black document projector. I pulled out my notebooks with the words & definitions I wrote yesterday, tapped on Gil's arm making him look at me, pushed my notebook over, and he started copying them into his own notebook. I decided to keep eating my Eggo's with the syrup as he talked and drank some of the milk since I was already done with this part. Once we were done with the words & definitions, we did the assignment and the tattered bell rang. We gather our stuff and I looked at Harry. "Ready?" He asked and I nodded. We headed to Under The Sea: Science Below The Surface, went inside, and found a seat in the back in front of the windows. We both sat down and I put my backpack on the counter next to our desk while he put his on the ground against the desk leg. "Why am I nervous for this class?" I asked him.

"Don't worry. I am as well slightly." He said, putting his around me on the back of my seat. "You are? I thought that you don't get nervous." I asked him. "Science has always made nervous. Just the idea of having to like dissect and stuff like that." Harry said, explaining why he doesn't like Science. "Alrighty future scientists, let's get this class started." Madame Medusa said coming into the classroom, her fiery short red hair flicking as she walked behind the table. "Since it is the first week of school, all we will be starting on introducing ourselves, getting your tables set up, making sure you pay for what you need in this class, and sign your syllabus & documents. The item you or your parents will need to pay for are your goggles that will be given to you in class & will be kept in class, your parents need to sign a safety document which says that you will follow the rules of every project or assignment, and the syllabus will be for what we learn this year. I will give you the document and the syllabus. Please use the hole puncher if you want to put these pieces of papers in your binders or please put these papers in your science folder." She said, explaining to us before going around handing out the syllabus & the document our parents had to sign. She also passed out the hole puncher, we both punched holes in the papers, and we put them in our notebook for now. "On the safety document, please write where it says 'I, ______ _______, will follow the rules as they say below this paragraph' your first and last name. Then sign the bottom where it says your signature." Madame Medusa said and I wrote it in my signature which was cursive & my first/last name in the blanks.

"Once you have done that, please put the paper away and we can now get started on the textbook words & definitions." She said before walking over to the cabinets over the counter where the paperback textbooks were. "When you are handed your textbooks, please write your name, your block, and today's date in the starting date spot. Keep in mind to make sure your handwriting is neat because they will be graded every Thursday or Friday and I want to be able to read them. You will get 15 points off if it's to where I can't read it even with glasses on." Madame Medusa said, handing us our notebooks before I wrote the information on the first page. "Let's talk about these notebooks for a few minutes, shall we? First of all like I said, every class you will be given 2 pages to complete. Some reading and some questions. At the end of each week, you will give your textbooks to me to be graded. When you come back each Monday or Tuesday, whenever we have class that week, you will look at your grade (s) and we will get started on the next 2 pages. Second of all, you will only take your notebooks out of class if you need to catch up on the work."
