Jae swallows, closing his eyes. What he wouldn't do to go back to that day in the winter. Racing each other, with no thoughts about anything but them. If only that memory could be the thing they play over and over, not the arguments.

"I should go," he says, not looking up. "I have stuff to do."

She turns away from him, leaving Jae with just the sight of her back and nothing else. As he walks away, the one thing on his mind is one lyric he wrote for her.
