"Come on, Dollface. You look bored."

I avoided his hungry looks and looked around for an exit. At least for someone to realize I didn't like this old creep giving me the once over. Everyone kept to their own conversations as they played pretend in their fancy formal wear.

I pulled my jacket from the back of my barstool, took a swig from my drink, and shrugged into it. "I really should be going. Thank you for the drink."

He slid in front of me, quick in on his sly feet. "How about I walk you out then?"

I stood up straighter and sidestepped him. "I promise I'm quite capable on my own. I'll just get my driver to pick me up outside."

He sighed. "You look dashing tonight, Doll. How about we just talk for a while while you wait?"

My vision swooned and I clutched the bar for support. I huffed as a heavy throb pounded in my skull. The man put a hand on the small of my back.

"You don't seem to be feeling good there."

The bartender's figure waved in front of us. "Is everything well with Miss Frisk?"

"Before I could protest, the creep nodded. "She is feeling a bit out of sorts. I'm going to take her somewhere for her to lay down so she can rest off her alcohol."

"Ahh, I see. I'll keep this our secret then." He slid in a wink with a small smile. I pleaded for him to turn around as my body became unearthly heavy.

The Man tightened his grip on me as he led us to a secluded, dark room away from the party. "Please... What did you... Do to me?" I huffed out.

"You're a lively one. Many men sought you out but none have prevailed to even get an inch in your direction." He pulled me closer and angled my chin towards him. "I wonder why men want you so terribly.... I wish to find out for myself~"

I jerked awake, gasping for air. I curled into the soft comforter as tears overwhelmed me, stifling a shaky scream into my pillow.

"You're fine. You're fine. You're fine." I chanted through sobs. "His hands aren't on you. You're at the skeleton home. You're. Fine."

A gentle hand on my head sent me rigged like aboard. "Doll? Ya not fine."

I threw away his gesture and wiped my tear-stained face. "Don't call me that!" I quickly lost my fierce tone. "Don't touch me..."

"What's going on?" he asked.

I curled into myself. "Why do you care, @sshole."

"I deserved that... Lots." He rubbed the back of his skull and looked me in the eye. "I'm an effing jerk. I shoulda never said those things. I wanted a distraction-"

"I'm not a toy to entertain anyone! I'm terribly sorry for your grief but it's not an excuse."

He hung his head. "I know. Stop scolding me like ya child."

I put my head on my knees as another wave of tears threatened to break free. "Please go away." I choke out.

"Nah... Thanks for the offer though, Frisky." He rubbed my back. "Best not hold back the flood gates, pal. Words of experience." I tensed my shoulders up around myself at his soft touch.

"I'm not gonna hurt you." He said. "Why do you assume that people are always tryna hurt ya? I'm just giving a comforting hand."

"Men aren't the kindest in my past if you get my gist, jerk." I silently let my tears fall at the living nightmares. "No one was too welcoming." A moment of silence pressed in on the bedroom.
