Chapter 3 : Erza Scarlet

Fiore . X776

Erza's pov :

The only thing I had on my mind at that moment was to run . To run as far and as fast as I could . Tears were streaming down my cheeks . My lungs burned from the lack of oxygen and my legs were about to give out . The stress and fear from the events that occurred took a toll on my body . And i finally collapsed. The last thing I remember seeing is a pair of black boots marching towards me and then the world turned dark .

Sung jinwoo's pov :

I heard everything that the boy said . Just who is zeref ?! He said their god . Just where have I landed ?
The young red headed girl starting running my direction . I was about to leave but she suddenly fainted in front of me and who am I to leave a young frail and malnourished child in the woods just like that .

Sigh. I then walked towards her body and picked her up from the ground . She was so skinny and cold . I started walking away from the tower in hopes of finding a good place to camp for the night .

-A few minutes later-

Finally . Why the fuck was it so hard to just find a single good place to sleep . So damn annoying . I place the girl on a blanket that I got from my inventory and summoned Berru to heal her wounds . And surprisingly he even managed to heal her eye . Well that's good . I then started to make a soup from the meat of a deer that Igrit hunted earlier . I was almost done when I heard shifting from besides me .

Erza's pov :

I slowly opened my eyes and started to focus on my surroundings. 'Wait . That's weird I can see clearly huh ?! MY EYE . My right eye was functioning. ' I was so happy that I started crying not noticing the person beside me .

''Ya , why are you crying . Does it hurt somewhere? '' called a voice .
That's when I took notice of the boy next to me . He had dark raven hair and blue eyes . He looked to be 16 but I can tell he was younger . He had a built frame and a strong aura . And I felt safe around him and surprisingly I wasn't scared of him at all .

''Big brother were you the one who healed my eye ? '' I asked courageously.
He looked taken aback with what I said or maybe what I called him . He gave me a sad but gentle smile and ruffled my hair . He then passed me a bowl of hot soup . ''Eat.'' He said . I looked down at the soup and it looked soooo good and the fragrant was also strong . I quickly took the bowl and gobbled down the content it was so delicious that I almost cried again . All the while the mysterious guy kept on watching me and following all of my movements .

''Do you want more ?'' He asked . I nodded vigorously. He chuckled and refilled my bowl but this time I ate slowly. ''So what's your name big brother ?'' I asked while he was still watching me . ''Sung jinwoo. What's yours ? '' he responded. ''It's Erza . Erza Scarlet .''

''What a beautiful name it suits you .'' Said jinwoo with a gentle look on his face . And that's how we started our conversation. I was so happy it felt so good to talk to him . It felt as if he was really my brother and as if I was really his sister . As if we were a family . And with this new warm feeling my consciousness started drifting away and I fell asleep .

Sung jinwoo's pov :

I was so shocked at first when she called me big brother. Just how many years has it been since I've been called that . I miss Jin_ah I miss her so much. I enjoyed talking to the little girl I saved and she reminded me alot of my own sister . And weird enough I wanted to protect this girl , to help her , to give her the life I couldn't give to my sister . And that got me thinking about my current situation. I have no clue why am i here nor how i'm supposed to go back to earth and my current body condition was the worst part . So for now i decided that it would be best to try and blend in with everyone in this new world and hopefully i would be able to find some clue about my predicament. I look again at the small girl sleeping peacefully and i couldn't help the small smile on my face . Maybe having her around won't be so bad after all i could use the company , though i don't know what she plans on doing after what she went through but i will support and protect her to the best of my ability.

Sigh . I lay down and look at the clear night sky . It was so beautiful and you could see the stars shining. I should go to sleep I'm sure tomorrow will be such a hectic day for me .
