Sorry guys! This is a bit of a change from my other short stories I have posted. I hope you like it anyways.

Many things had happened in the town of hillside, but this was one of the most gruesome cases I had ever seen.
Every year, a new student would transfer into Hillside middle school. They would always share the same qualities. Bruises on their whole body, occasional twitching, a certain smell that made you want to puke, and the disappearances.
My best friend, Sarah Rose was killed on the 18th of September 1943. How do I know this you ask? Well, I was the only one who survived...
Her.
No ever questioned it. When Sarah had left to go class that day, she had bumped into Grace Higgins. The new girl. Once again, she had bruises all over her. They were on her face, arms, and legs. Sarah was skeptical about Grace, for the same reason I soon discovered after her.
Sarah was my best friend! Truly! But after Grace Higgins, or whatever her name is took her. I knew that was definitely not my Sarah.
Sarah once came up to me and said she say flies hanging around Grace. I didn't believe her at all. We all thought she was crazy. My first thought was that she was probably just overreacting and that she would eventually give it up. But she didn't.
"So your saying you saw... flies?" Closing her locker with an aggressive bang, Sarah rolled her eyes and raked her hands through her hair. "Yes! Why doesn't anyone believe me! I thought out of all people, you would believe me". Sarah stormed off heading towards her class when she stumbled into her.
"Sorry Grace. I didn't mean to-" Sarah looked into Graces eyes. They weren't her normal greyish blue colour. They were... black. Graces hand flew to Sarah's hair as she pulled her towards a small janitors closet. Before Sarah could try and escape, Grace clasped her hand onto her shoulder, her nails digging into her skin, nearly drawing blood. Sarah flicked her eyes to the keys dangling on Graces belt. "Oh no you don't darling. Do you really think I would let you get away with knowing?"
Sarah's breathing heightened and sweat started forming on her face. "I don't know what your talking about". A smile crept onto Graces face. Never in Sarah's life had she seen something so... so dark.
"Pretty little girl. What do you mean you don't know"?
Sarah's lips trembled as she returned Graces question with Silence.
Grace slammed her head into the wall behind her. Sarah let a out a shriek and slapped Grace across the face. Grace slowly rose her head to Sarah's, so that they were inches apart. "I'm going to ask you again. Sarah. What do you mean, you don't know?"
Sarah pushed herself forward to try and gain some stability but failed. "What do you want from me Grace. Because I have nothing to give. I'm just a normal girl trying to figure out your situation. I've concluded that those flies I saw around you yesterday, aren't just because you smell like death. Its because of something else."
Grace loosened her grip on Sarah's shoulders and smiled wide. "And what do you think that is sweet bird."
Her voice shaking, Sarah slowly answered the question she had been dying to say.
"You're a demon."
That fucking prick was way too close to the edge.
Grace threw her head back in laughter. Sarah looked at her confused. Why was she laughing, she didn't say anything funny enough for her to laugh?
Then she just.
Stopped.
She rose her hand to cup her cheek. "Not quite deary. But I'm afraid since you obviously know too much. I am going to have to execute you." Sarah's eyes widened. "Help- Grace let go of Sarah's shoulders and leant against the door- HELP! PLEASE HELP ME! IM IN HERE!" Sarah started banging on the locked door. "No one can hear you. I've enchanted it." Sarah stopped banging and turned to face her. Now, Grace was much taller and paler than before. Her eyes were a tinge of green and her arms grew longer, and longer by the second.
"What are you!" Sarah said with a shaky breath. Grace smirked and tilted Sarah's chin towards her. "Oh darling. It wouldn't be fun if I told you what I was." She removed her finger from Sarah's chin and grabbed her by the through.
Sarah's hands tried to pry open Graces, but it was no use. She had her stuck. Graces grip tightened on Sarah's throat as Sarah kicked screamed under Graces touch.
"Goodbye Sarah".
Grace tightened her grip one more time, Sarah's face turning blue. Sarah's screams were silenced, and her legs dangled from Graces hand.
Grace swiftly dropped Sarah onto the ground. Her corpse pale and blue as she puffed into a cloud of smoke.
She looked down at Sarah and grind.
With a flick of Graces hand the door unlocked. When she stepped outside ethe small closet, she was no longer Grace Higgins. She was Sarah Rose
As she walked down the hallway to her next class she bumped into a tall man. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry. Let me help you". She knelt down and gathered the mans books and binders. He looked down at Graces grey-blue eyes and lightly smiled.
She locked eyes with him and returned the action. She slowly stood up and handed him his things.
"Holy shit Sarah! Where have you been! I believe you now... that grace girl is bad news".
"I'm sure it will be fine Em. Now that I think about it. I think the whole 'Oh my god, she is possessed!' thing is actually pretty stupid".
Emily looked at her with a confused look. "But only seconds ago you were ranting about how you saw flies swarming around her! Why the change of mind?"
She patted Emily on the back and gave her a knowing look. "Oh Em, some things are just meant to be rather said than done".
Emily agreed reluctantly and continued walking.
"Hey! How about we skip class. I have something to show you". They walked back, heading into a small janitors closet. "Sarah? What are you doing-"? She pushed Emily into the closet and shut the door with a bang.
