A strand of hair fell onto her flawless skin
I reached out to place it behind her ear
My hand lingered near her face
My thumb caressing her cheek
"You are extraordinary." I breathed
Her eyes went wide and her faced turned an awful shade of rose
She giggles and looks down to her feet
Her head tilted back up by the push of my finger
Her gaze never left mine as I stepped closer
Our lips softly skimming past
My hand returned to her cheek, and I pulled her closer
Her breath was warm against my neck
She smelt sweet. Like- Like cinnamon
"What are you doing." She asks as if she doesn't have a single clue
Typical.
"This."
My lips press against hers in a smooth motion.
She pulls away flustered.
My arm wraps around her waist as I pull her back in
She doesn't pull away this time.
Her hands wrap around my neck, and she leans against my chest
I hated her. I hated her ego, her personality, her warm embrace, her infectious smile.
How ironic that two enemies could become lovers.
