Borutos POV

I was scared. I was going to tell my mom that I was gay. I didn't know how she would react. "Hey mom?" I said as i enter the kitchen. I was shocked to see dad too. "Oh dad." I said.

"What is it."

"I need to tell you guys something. You might want to sit down." Dad looked concerned. Mom looked at me and dryed her hand. Himawari just blinked and sat down to.

"What's wrong big brother." She said. I patted her head.

"You wouldnt understand. Your still too young." I said. I sat down across from mom and dad. "Ive been thinking this for a long while. I even thought ahead and set up a back up just incase this goes bad but i dont know how you guys would take this."

"What is it boruto?" Dad said concerned.

"I-....." I took a deep breath. "I'm.. Gay." I said nervously. Mom just gave a soft smile.

"I already knew that." She said. My eyes widen. I looked to dad. He gave a soft smile. "I see how you look at your teammate. It was the same look i gave your father from a distance." She said and i looked at dad.

"What about you?"

"Your my son. Just because your gay doesn't make me hate you." He said. I stood up and ran around the table. I hugged my parents as tears fell.

"I really thought you guys would hate me." I cried. They both hugged me. Himawari was really confused.

"Now what was your back up plan?"

"Shikadai's mom offered the guest room untill i found a place for myself." I said.

"I see." Dad said. "I should be getting back to the office. Boruto why dont you come with me for a few minutes." He said and i nodded. We both leave.

"Boruto?"

"Yeah?" I said.

"You do realize that I'm going to be more protective over you right?" He said looking at me.

"Why? I'm not any different?"

"I know some gay people have been bullied or even killed just because they were gay. I dont want any of that happe-" just then i was hit in the head by a pebble. I stopped walking. Three boys came out. "Hey you better apologize." Dad said.

"Go to hell sinner." One said and they all ran away. I sighed and continued walking.

"Who were those kids. They were genin." He said.

"Thats team 27. They were in that same class as me." I said.

Later.

I was so bored. I almost fell asleep until uncle shikamaru put me to work. "Boruto. Why don't you help your dad organize his paperwork. The most important ones first." Shikamaru said. I cheered.

"Finally something to do." I said happily. I walked over to a mountain and looked at it. I just blinked.

"You don't get it do you."

"Not really. This one is for a d rank." I said.

"Any mission is important." Dad said.

"What? all of them?"

"Yes." He said and I sighed and started sorting.

"S rank. Wow this one is so cool." I said excitedly. Dad took it out of my hand.

"Oh this is more of an a rank then an s rank." He said. He signed it. Just then there was a knock on the door.

"You summoned us lord 7th." My eyes widen when it was team 27. I walked over to dad and hid behind him. Afraid they would through something at me again. He glared at them. "Uh lord 7th?" Their sensai said.
