chapter 2

Boruto's POV.

My mom came in and cuddled next to me. "Heartbreaks happen all the time. One day. You'll find someone that would return your feelings." She said. Dad came to the door frame with a sad smile.

"Dad?" I asked.

"Hmm?" He hummed.

"Have you ever been rejected."

"Yeah. Many times." He said. He sat down on the end of the bed. "I just came in here to tell you that Mitsuki is down stairs." He said. I sat up.

"I don't want to see him. He left after rejecting me."

"He went home to get some answers." He said. "You should talk to him." I hugged my needs and turned away from my parents. They just sighed and left. I looked at my door after it closed. I snuck over to it and quietly opened it. I tip toed down the stairs and listened. I quickly move to the top of the stairs when I heard footsteps. "I'm sorry Mitsuki. Boruto seem to be quite stubborn after the heartbreak." I heard dad say.

"I'm sorry. I don't understand. What heartbreak?"

"You rejected him."

"I did not." He said plainly.

"What. Now I'm confused." Mom said. I walked down the stairs glaring. I turned him around to the door and started pushing him.

"Wait Boruto."

"Leave. I don't want you here." I said.

"But Boruto. I came to see you."

"Well I don't want you here." I said.

"Boruto!" Mom scolded. I was about to look at mom when Mitsuki got really close to my face. I back away quickly and back up to trip on the small step. Mitsuki frowned and quickly left. I was super confused.

"Did he just try to kiss me?" I asked more to myself. I quickly got up and ran out. Mitsuki stood at the gate. "did you..."

"come with me." he said. I slowly walked over to him. he grabbed my hand and started dragging me somewhere.

a few days later

Mitsuki was sending me mix signals and I was going insane. I walked into the burger shop and stormed over to Mitsuki, who was talking to Shikadai and his team. I dragged him away. "what's wrong Boruto?" he asked once no one was around.

"I need answers." I demanded. he just blinked at me. "do you like me or not?" I asked.

"I do." he said and I studied him.

"then why are you sending mixed signals." i asked more calmly.

"mix signals? i don't know what you mean. we're together are we not?" he asked.

"you never asked me to be with you." i said. he smiled.

"then lets be together. is that okay? Boruto?" he said his sweet smile never leaving his face. I froze. was this real. I pinched my wrist and winced. "why did you do that if it hurts?" he asked. i just rushed forward and hugged him. he hugs me tightly.

"yes. lets be together." i said happily.

"it's about time." i heard a voice say. Mitsuki smiled at me as I turned away from him the snap at shikadai for eavesdropping. Mitsuki let go of me.

"Eavesdropping isn't a very nice thing. You could get caught." Mitsuki and I got a dangerous vibe from him. I grabbed his hand and hel smiled to me. He began dragging me with him as we ran passed them.

Night

I walked in my house a little later because I was training with my new boyfriend. Wow that's never gets old. My boyfriend. "What's with the smile big brother?" Himawari asked. Mom came in and smiled.

"I'm guessing things went well with mitsuki?" She asked.

"Yes." I said smiling. I took off my shoes and walked into the kitchen. Mom placed my food on the table.

"So your dating now?" She asked. I nodded.

"Yes. He thought we were together before but we just made it official today." I said.

"I'm home." I heard dad say.

"Welcome home daddy!" Himawari said excitedly. He picked her up in a hug.

"Your coming home early a lot now." I said eating my food. Just then a knock came to the door. I just continued eating. Dad let him in. I smiled as mitsuki walked in.

"Wait are you two good now." Dad asked.

"They're dating now." Mom said. I finished off my dinner and I go up to my room with mitsuki behind me. "Door stays open."

"Okay." I said. I sat on the bed as mitsuki examined the room. It was just silent.

"So what do we do in a relationship." He asked.

"Oh. Uh we could do a lot of things. We could go on dates. We could kiss or make out. We could hold hands while going on long walks together."

"And to be sure. I can only do that with you?" He asked. I nodded.

"If you do it with other people while already dating someone is called cheating. Its a heart crushing thing." I said. I poked his chest. "So don't cheat on me." I said sternly. He smiled and moved next to me. I blushed.

"So what are we doing now. Is this kissing."

"No. Uh kissing is when our lips meet." I said moving so I could pull up my knees to my chest.

"Can you show me?" He asked. My face was beat red.

"I uh. Never kissed any one before." I said. Hiding my face. He looked confused. I sighed and slowly moved for ward towards him. I peck his cheek. "It would be like that but on your lips instead." I said. He smiled.

"I like it." He said moving his hand to his cheek. "No what does being a top a d being a bottom mean?" He asked. I blushed like crazy as I froze.

"Uh. That's more of a question to ask your parents or a teacher." I said. He grabbed my hand.

"Let's go ask shino Sensei." He said.

"Wait. Its night. You should be going home." I said. He leaned closer to me. His lips meet my cheek.

"Okay. See you tomorrow then."

"Bye." I said as he smiled back at me and left. I sighed as i listened to the front door.
