                                                          Chapter 8pt2.

I stared at her, my mouth agape, and forced myself to stutter. “Tw..enn..ty th-three?” she laughed and nodded again. But how can that be... that means shes older than me! That is so unfair... I have more wrinkles than her!

She frowned, “Are you scared of me now?” As soon as she said that I bit my lip. Should I be scared? Its not like she murders people... at least I hope she doesn't. But that means shes one of the creatures that I hate/ but shes also like me. Opening my mouth I said “no your the same as me” at least sort of. I added mentally, watching as a smile broke across her face. “where are your fangs?” I blurted out without thinking.

“they only come out when I eat” she smiled again. “Watch” stretching her arm out, she ran her long-pointed fingernail across it. A large slice appeared on it, and her nail grew short again. She leaned her head down to the cut and I watched her tongue shoot out. She licked some of the dripping blood and looked up. Opening her mouth, I saw two fangs pointing out and her red eyes watched me. “See?”

Amazed, I started towards her and reached forward. “ Can I touch them?” She nodded, and I stuck out my pointer finger. Breathing out, she closed her eyes and I touched the tip of her fang. As I went to move closer I felt wind gust around me and suddenly I was thrown against the wall.

Adam's eyes stared into mine and he breathed shallowly. “Do not Ever touch a vampires fangs. Half human or not.” Confused, I gasped for air and my body tried to get over the shock. He had scared me half to death, and I could feel my heart pounding in my ears. “ Did you want to get killed?!” he snarled, his fangs showing.

Suddenly, I was more scared of fangs than I had been before. I squirmed, still staring into his eyes and listened to my heavy breathing. It was the only thing that could be heard until Milly spoke. “Adam it is my fault. Don't punish Amanda, Punish me” I froze, and adam didn't glance at Milly once. An idea struck me, and I quickly twisted his wrist, shoving him away.

He stumbled backwards and I saw him smirk before disappearing. Glancing around quickly, I yelped as he pressed me hard against the wall. His body curved into mine and he stared me down. “Miranda leave us” Milly glanced at me before hesitantly disappearing. I frowned, as he shoved me into the closest room and the door closed behind him.

“You really want yourself killed don't you?” he hissed, his body once more pressed into every curve of my body. I felt my body stiffen up, and my heart began to thud. “Its not safe” his tone grew sweeter, and he trailed off as he glanced down at my lips. I bit my lip, and felt an uncontrollable urge to lean forward.

Kiss me! My thoughts screamed, and my body thudded. What am I thinking? Adam leaned forward and I held my breath closing my eyes.
