Third person POV
Both of the girls ate their breakfast together and their now at the living room.Yeji isn't going to work because she's having a day off today since she's still having a fever.
"Hey uh, Chaeryeong?"
"Yes?"
"When are you leaving?"
"Are you kicking me out? I'll leave now th-"
"NO!" Yeji shouted which made Chaeryeong flinched in surprised. The younger looked away and smile. "Uh I mean no, I'm just asking cause I need to go somewhere else. You can stay here if you want to."
"Somewhere..? Where are you going? You should stay home you know, you're sick."
"I need to go to um, your apartment."
"My apartment...?"
"I left something in your apartment."
"Wait you went to my apartment?"
"Um yes. Every weekend unless I'm busy."
"Why did you go there for?"
"To clean and tidy up."
"Is that the main reason?"
"To wait for you. Hoping you'll go back to your apartment one day."
Chaeryeong opened her eyes widely as she was shocked to hear what Yeji said.
Yeji had never gave up on waiting her.
"Oh." Chaeryeong answered.
"Yeah."
"Well.. I can go there to take your things for you actually. You're sick and you shouldn't be going out. What's the thing you left there?"
"My black coat. I left there for a few days already. I need it tomorrow."
"I'll go and get it for you now."
"Thank you, Chaeryeong."
Chaeryeong smiled at her as a response and left Yeji's apartment. It didn't take a very long time for her to come back after getting Yeji's coat, but when she returned to Yeji's apartment, Yeji had already fallen asleep.
Chaeryeong placed down the coat and her bag on the couch and walked up to Yeji. The elder was laying on the sofa, her left hand was holding some papers and her right hand was holding a pencil. There was also some files on the table.
Chaeryeong took a closer look and found out it was her lyrics drafts. Yeji really is a workaholic.
"Seriously? Still working when she's sick? Can't she just rest??" the younger frowned and hisses at Yeji.
She took the pencil and the drafts away from the elder and placed it on the files. A piece of paper fell on the ground which caught her attention.
The letter she wrote for Yeji.
She picked it up and stared at the letter. The paper has several tapes on it as it was torn before. It looks like a very old paper since it's crumpled.
Chaeryeong's eyes became teary when she noticed something at the lower right corner of the letter.
It's Yeji's handwriting.
---What Yeji wrote---
Two years ago today you left. I still don't understand why you left and just break up like that which is really upsetting. I don't know where are you right now but I'm sure one day I'll meet you again. So I'll wait. I'll wait for you for no matter how long it's gonna take. I'll wait for the day where you would come back to me. I need you and I miss you, I really do. I love you a lot and I will never stop loving you. —Yeji.
