i sit in tylers room not knowing how to feel.. it's about two days after his surgery and there's no luck whatsoever.. jahseh was freed from the hospital but is in custody and as of now there's a current case going on for this...

tyler hasn't gotten any better but much worse. they checked his brain waves for any response but all they can see is damage, his stomach is beyond repair meaning his meals may never be enjoyable again and his mobility is non existent.

he's been on life support and the doctors are trying everything they possibly can, but tylers mom isn't giving up, and neither am i.

i plan to sit next to him everyday and tell him a story.. today the story was about a butterfly when itthought it couldn't fly past a tree, but soon after enough time was able to fly up to the sun.

i get maybe one response which is a finger tap when i'm holding his hand which is a blessing.

i've also agreed to do his homework and try to keep him up float in classes since a failing grade is not for him nor the level of intelligence he has.

he got a new cast and his mom colored it yellow and blue since it's his favorite colors. the one on his foot is black. the doctors have to move his legs  and arms everyday so he doesn't lose muscle mass nor flexibility.

i just pray. i bend at my waist and knees and talk to the God ive always believed in.

i just want to hear his voice say my name.. i want to hear him say it with passion and grace.. i just want to see the tyler i user to know.. and even if it's not the tyler i used to know, let it be tyler.

i sigh as i feel.. hurt yet better.
i grab his hand and massage it. i feel a twitch then a tap.. i gasp, getting happy, like i always. i feel another twitch and tap, which was out of the ordinary so i immediately begin to talk to tyler.

"tyler tap twice for yes and once for no ok?"
tyler taps twice and i go on with talking.

"are you awake?"
tyler taps twice and i smile
"do you feel any better"
he taps twice once again and i smile
"do you remember anything from two days ago?"
he taps twice.

i immediately call for the doctors which they come running
"he's awake!! i did a little tap game thing and he tapped my finger answering my questions!!"
the doctors face lights up as she holds tylers non injured hand and begins to talk.

"hi tyler it's me doctor abigail do you know me??"
tyler taps twice
"he said yes, since tapping twice is yes tapping once is no"

she nods as she smiles
"do you feel like you have strength to maybe open your eyes?"
tyler taps twice
"can you try for me?"
tyler taps twice.

she gets up while still holding his hand as she looks at him slowly opening his eyes. i look too and see the beautiful brown orbs being laminated by the bright light in the room in which dr abigail quickly turns down.

"hiii tyler!!"
she says as she lifts up the front of the bed with a button.
he looks at he a smiles with his eyes.
"i'll be right back i'm gonna get something that may help him talk while we're here"

i nod my head as he looks at me with excited eyes. i hear foot steps and turn to see my mom and tylers mom.

"tyler!!"
my mom runs over to see tylers eyes staring into hers. a sight she thought she would never see.

"oh my gosh look- his eyes are open!!"
tylers mom comes running and sees her baby's beautiful eyes. i smile wide as tylers mom caress tyler cheek.

tyler turns to me and the. blinks as if he's trying to say something.
"oh hello guys!!"
"hi, what's that??"
"oh it's a machine that's gonna help get the ventilation tube out of him. so maybe he can talk."
