Lan Xichen was walking along side Lan Qiren. The two adults were leaving the Conference room, clearly confused and stressed. "Xichen, is there something on you're mind?" Lan Qiren asked.

Lan Xichen stopped in his tracks as he looked at his uncle who continued walking. "Uncle, do you have any idea where Sect Leader Jiang is?" Lan Xichen asked. "Is that whats on you're mind, Xichen." Lan Qiren turned his head towards Lan Xichen. Lan Xichen nodded as he turned his eyes away from the gaze of Lan Qiren. "I apologise, Xichen, but I'm afraid I don't know where sect leader Jiang is" Lan Qiren looked away from his nephew and continued walking.

"Uncle-" Lan Xichen got cut off by two junior disciples. "Sect Leader Lan! Is Jin Ling already gone?" One of the juniors asked in a polite and soft tone. "Sect Leader Lan, may I please talk to Sect Leader Jiang?" the other junior asked. Lan Xichen faced the two juniors and smiled gently. "Why must you speak with Sect Leader Jiang?" Lan Xichen asked. "So the young mistress- Young Master Jin can assist us with another night hunt!" Xichen stared at the enthusiastic junior.

"Sizhui, Jingyi, I'm afraid I Jin Ling cannot join you today." Lan Xichen smiled. The two juniors looked at him with confused looks in their face, their Sect Leader never refused them. "Why not!?" Both Sizhui and Jingyi yelled in sync. Lan Xichen did a little laugh before looking back at the two juniors.

"Young Master Jin is currently at Lanling Jin." Lan Xichen answered. He avoided eye contact so he couldn't see the disappointment in the junior's faces. "Lanling Jin? isn't he suppose to be at Yunmeng?" Sizhui asked in a disappointing tone. Lan Xichen smile left his face and it turned into a frown.

"I wish I knew" Lan Xichen muttered. "What was that Sect Leader?" Sizhui asked. Xichen looked at the juniors and forced a smile. "You may visit Sect Leader Jiang in Yunmeng." Xichen smiled. The juniors were about to leave until they were soon stopped by Lan Xichen. "I will come with  you for you're visit." Xichen spoke in a soft tone. The two juniors nodded. They jumped on their swords and began flying towards Yunmeng.

YUNMENG 

Once the three arrived at Yunmeng, they approached Lotus Pier. Yunmeng was very busy. The products being sold there was also quite amusing. The stalls were selling so many good things that it caught the eyes of Xichen. But Xichen stayed on task. 

Lan Xichen got the respect of a lot of people. People were bowing and greeting the three Lans as they walked by. Even children was greeting the Lans.

"Zewu-Jun, Lotus Pier is right there" Lan Sizhui pointed at the gates of Lotus Pier. As they approached the gates, they were stopped by the disciples guarding the gates. ,Apologies, Zewu-Jun. But nobody is allowed too enter Lotus Pier" One of the disciples announced. The three Lans looked at the disciple in confusion. 

"Why not?" Lan Jingyi asked in a irritated tone. "We are unable to tell you." The other disciple responded. "You may, however. Speak to Zhang-Wei." A disciple suggested "We'll go get him" The disciples left, leaving the three Lans in a state of confusion. 

A few minutes after waiting, Zhang-Wei appeared at the gates with the two disciples. The Lans greeted him with a bow, which Zhang-Wei returned. 

"What brings Zewu-Jun and Young Master Jin's friend here?" Zhang-Wei asked in a polite tone with a slight bow. Lan Xichen approached the gates and returned the polite tone. "We are here to see Sect Leader Jiang" Lan Sizhui said from behind. 

"I apologise, but Lotus Pier are not accepting visitors at the moment." Zhang-Wei's polite tone changed to a serious tone. "But-" "I apologise, but I'm not able to see you out. please, look around Yunmeng before leaving." Lan Jingyi wasn't very happy with this response. "We need to see him though!" Zhang-Wei was not backing down. "Young Master Jin will not be joining you in another night hunt for a week, he will be staying in Lanling Jin." Zhang-Wei responded. Before another one of them could answer back, Zhang-Wei spoke in a unpleasant tone.
