Achilles' POV:

The sun streams into the room, hitting Achilles in the eyes, causing him to blink rapidly. Dew clings to the windowpane and a chill creeps into the room through the cracks of wear and tear on the panes.

Wiping the sleep from his eyes, he stretches and peers over to his left, looking down at his now husband. Basilio's face was a warm orange hue from the sunlight, his lashes a chestnut brown, hair falling softly against his forehead. He looks almost pretty in this lighting, soft and unassuming. Achilles couldn't help but reach out and brush the hair off his forehead; Basilio twitches at this and snuggles further beneath the covers, pulling them higher on his face.

Achilles pulls his hand back as if it was burned, his face scrunching up a bit at his own actions, looking down at his hand. He struggles to figure out as to what compelled him to touch him in the first place. Achilles knows its stupid to panic like this, and he's not stupid enough to deny that Basilio is attractive, but he's never felt compelled to touch and admire him in that way. Quickly Achilles finds himself in a panic.

Feeling betrayed by his own hand, he gets up out of bed and quickly away from his husband, hoping that cleaning up and getting ready would help erase his mind from what just happened. He walks into the master bathroom and turns on the sink, double slim carved porcelain, washing his face and neck with hot water and soap. He looks up at his face in the mirror and sighs, the weight of the past few weeks crashing down on him, causing him to feel fatigued. Peering around the bathroom he tries to find some soap and towels to be able to shower and wash the grime of yesterday off.

Under the sink he finds the soap and in one of the wall-mounted cabinets he finds a set of black towels. To the left of the sink was a large tub (specify) and a standing brass shower with brass and marble knobs. Turning the knobs to the perfect temperature, Achilles steps into the shower, steam enveloping his body and the glass walls of the shower.

Taking the soap, he lathers it into the washcloth and drags it across his body, covering every inch of himself in suds. The scent of pears and jasmine fills the bathroom as he continues to clean his body, which leaves him unaware to the bathroom door cracking open a bit more as the door was not fully closed behind him. A breeze quickly brought a chill into the bathroom causing Achilles to turn to the door, finding a flushed Basilio practically gawking at him, the front of his boxers slightly tented.

"OH MY GOD GET OUT!" Achilles shouts, covering his front.

"I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO I JUST REALLY NEED TO PEE AND THEN I SAW YOU AND I- "

"SHHHH STOP STOP JUST LEAVE." Achilles has his eyes shut at this point, arms flailing a bit in a panic.

The door shuts completely, and Achilles finds himself just standing in the shower rays, no longer scrubbing himself but just letting the water wash off his embarrassment. Looking down he sees that he's sporting a slight chub and sighs. He turns the water to cold and finishes up his shower.

He steps out the shower, wrapping his towel around his waist. Achilles walks out of the bathroom, feet tracking water with him, the chill of the house causing him to break out in goosebumps. Glancing over at the bed on the way to the bed he sees Basilio staring at the floor, sitting on the front edge of the bed, ears and cheeks red.

Something settles in Achilles' gut that feels warm and squirms around, which immediately throws him off. He can feel his own face begin to heat up at the realization and quickly walks over to the dresser and grabs some underwear, sweatpants and a sweatshirt along with a pair of fleece-lined socks. Without looking back, he hears the bathroom door shut and lets out a breath. He throws the towel onto the bed and quickly dresses as the chill of the house is beyond biting, and the last thing he wants is a cold.
