As I looked up at the school the grip on my books got tighter. I was so nervous to be in this school
I opened up the red doors and walked inside
(Voiceover btw: Hi, Name is Katherine lodge, I used to be rich in my other family until I came out to my abuela that I was straight. Yes it seems weird that she would kick me out for that but she has always wanted me to date girls.)
I walked through the halls hoping someone wouldn't recognize me and tell me where to go.
I looked around trying to find someone and my eyes landed on someone with a red jacket on.
"Excuse me?" I said as I approached them
A short but tall guy turned around to me and gave me a confused look
"Are you new here? I've never seen you around" He asked scratching his black perfect hair
"Yes I'm new. My name is Katherine Lodge" I said taking my hand out hoping he would shake it back
"Finn Hudson" He said shooting me a bright smile and shaking my hand
I gave him a bright smile back
"So can you help me find the principals office?" I asked. He smiled at me again and nodded "Sure follow me" He said "thank you so much I was so lost"
He nodded and I followed him to the principles office.
Once we arrive the words said "Mr figgins"
"So this is Mr Figgins office, He will give you your schedule" Finn said and then looked at his watch
"Okay well I gotta go to glee club so I'll see you later" He said kinda sounding sad that we are going apart from each other
He then walked away and I thought to myself
(voiceover: Hm I wonder what glee club is)
...
I walked out the office a couple minutes later with my schedule in my hand.
I walked down the halls and came to a board that said all the clubs.
My eyes had immediately landed on the cheer team
I quickly picked up the pen and wrote my name down on the paper and walked away.
I came across the gym room and decided to go inside. I then saw someone with short blonde hair.
They turned to me and they looked me up and down.
"What are you doing in my gym room?" She asked coming closer to me
"I'm sorry I'm new here and I just wanted to explore the school" I replied
She looked me up and down again and smirked
"You would look great as a cheerio" She said
"Oh actually I did sign up for the cheer team" I replied smiling
"Well guess what, You don't even have to audition, Your in. You know if I could I would kick off Quinn Fabray" She said
"I'm sorry who's that?" I asked
"She's the head cheerleader, For you I would kick her off and make you head cheerleader" She whispered
I smiled a bit
"By the way I'm coach Sue Sylvester" She said
"Katherine Lodge or just call me Kate" I said and Sue smiled and nodded
"Okay now get your behind to class because I have to throw up from seeing that old trash Mr Shue" Sue said and then walked away
...
I was walking through the halls and then saw someone being shoved against the locker
"Gay" A Mohawk guy commented as he slammed the person into the locker again
"Hey get off of him!" I said
The Mohawk guy stared into my soul
"Fine" He said letting go of the guy scattering his books all over the floor "But she won't be alive the next time I see her"
As he walked away I bent down and helped out the other kid pick up his books
"Thank you. By the way that's Puck" He said as we both stood up
"You're welcome. My name is Katherine Lodge and I'm new here" I said smiling
He smiled at me and it made my heart melt
"My name is Kurt. Kurt Hummel, I'm very glad your new we haven't been having new kids since like 2 years" Kurt said
I smiled at him as I gave him his books
"So why is Puck calling you a she?" I asked
"I came out gay the day after my first day of school" Kurt said
"Oh that's nice, My abuela always expected me to date girls but I wanted to date guys not that it's wrong to date the same sex as you I just didn't want to date a girl" I said
"I'm sorry that happened to you. But i'll talk to you more at lunch" Kurt said
I smiled and nodded and he walked away
As I walked away I bumped into someone
"Oh my god i'm so sorry please don't beat me up" The wheelchair kid said looking scared for his life
"Oh it's okay" I said
He looked at me weirdly and I chuckled softly
"You're not gonna beat me up?" He asked
"No, Plus it would be wrong if I did it anyway" I said
"But you're a cheerio, Cheerios are usually mean" He said
"Well I'm not mean. Yet" I said causing Him to laugh
"Sorry i've been made fun of for the accident I was in and how I ended up in this wheelchair" He said
"Oh I'm sorry that happened, What's your name?" I asked
"Artie. Artie Abrams" He said
"I'm Katherine or you can call me Kate" I said smiling
"Are you new? now that i'm realizing you don't look familiar" Artie said
"Yes I'm new this school seems fun" I said
Artie smiled at me and nodded
"It is, Anyways I gotta make it to glee club so I'll see you later" He said and cutely rolled away
I walked over to the board again and saw the glee club paper
"So that's what it is" I said as I saw it was about singing (obviously) and you can express yourself
I saw all the names on there and then added
"Katherine lodge"
