"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

The training captain counted down as the two men rushed at each other with full force.Metal clanking could be heard as the two swords hit against each other repeatedly.

"Come on! Don't go soft on me!"

The man yelled as Ming kept blocking and dodging his attacks.

"Go on Ming! Show him what you got!"

The captain yells encouraging Ming to give it his all.

"Okay captain!"

Ming yelled before a small smile appeared on his face causing his opponent to let out a growl,Ming dodges a few more incoming attacks before lunging forwards catching his opponent off guard.The man raises his sword,pushing up to keep the blade from coming down.Ming stared into the mans eyes that same smile still on his face and with a swift motion kicks the mans legs out from under him causing him to fall.

The captain cheers causing Ming's smile to widen for a brief moment before frowning.

"Are you okay?"

Ming asks dropping his sword as he rushed over to his side.

"I'm fine...I'm fine"
The man reassures him in between breaths as he laid down on the floor with a sigh.

"What's your name?"

"Laurence Winter and you?"

"Ming Adam, nice to meet you!"

"Ming? aren't you one of executives?"

"Yes I am"

"I could h-"

"Hey! no hard feelings.it was just a friendly fight"

"You help with training?"

"I do, I like to test everyone's strength"

"But between me and you I love meeting new people!...We don't get a lot people"

Ming stands up dusting himself off.

"Lets be friends!"

"Friends?"

Laurence questioned wanting to make sure he had heard Ming right.

"Yeah friends!"

Ming offers him a hand up.

"Friends!"

Laurence says matching Ming's happy tone as he grabbed Ming's hand.

Now that Laurence was up and standing still Ming got a better look at his appearance.Laurence had short black hair and hazel colored eyes.He was about Ming's height maybe a few inches taller then him,he was wearing a white shirt with black jeans.

"I have a few things to do but we should train again together sometime!"

"Definitely"

Laurence agrees giving Ming a smile and a wave goodbye.

Ming stops on the steps of the building before turning around.

'I still can't get over how big this place is..'

Ming thinks to himself looking up at the castle like building known for housing those who work for Nova.The building was a mix of light and dark grey stones that were overgrown by vines, Ming had tried tending to the building for a bit but the vines always seemed to grow back at an abnormal rate.
