Luna walked to room 304, she went to the end of the bed and grabbed the clipboard to read off the young girl’s illness to herself. The room was bright white and blue with yellow accents and pink curtains.
‘Breast cancer and she’s only five... Why so young?’
Luna thought. A tall lanky man walked into the room. He was pale like he hadn’t seen the light in ages, he looked as if he hadn’t eaten in years, had Black hair, and was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. “I’m sorry sir, you can’t be in here, visiting hours are over.”
Luna was a contradiction of him, tan skin, Auburn hair, and wearing bright pink Nurse Scrubs.
“You can see me?”
he said looking Luna in the eyes.
“What do you mean?”
but the man didn't answer, he just walked out of the room, scared almost. He walked fast, luna walked out the door and yelled
“Where are you going?!”
Everyone in the hall of the hospital looked at her and where she was looking like she as crazy. She walked back into the room and sat in one of the chairs, putting her head in her hands.
‘What just happened..’
she thought to herself. She went through the rest of the day, trying topretend nothing happened, but she just couldn’t get the incident off her mind. She tried reading on her lunch break but she couldn’t focus, she had already restarted the page 10 times. By the time she was going home she was fairly distressed about it, so she ate and went to sleep.________________________________________________________________________________________________
